  1. Not sure if this helps or not, but I really find Joel's videos for Connelly very helpful. He talks though each aspect of the ski and the purpose for the design. Conversely, although I ski Radar products, I find Radar's product videos useless. They are music videos with water skiers and literally say nothing about the product. The reason I bought Radar in the first place was because of the videos Rini and Rossi put out explaining the difference between the Strada and Senate. Unfortunately, Radar went away from that.

Aside from the product specs, I think linking these types of informative video to be helpful when shopping online.

  2. That beats both my stories. Taking the kids skiing on a busier and windier Saturday afternoon. Rope drifted/blew under the platform. Wrapped it on the prop but was able to unwind while boat was in water. My buddy wrapped the jump on the prop. In an attempt to save time and wet the jump faster he did a power turn with the boat in order to spray the ramp. Oops. Wrapped one of the anchor lines on the prop. We were able to unwrap it after about 15 minutes.
  3. At 0:35....I know the boat was smaller but were the gates and boat guides wider too? Gate seems really wide especially for how large the buoys were. Would that course have been prior to the conversion to the metric course?

Very cool seeing the jump as part of the trick runs. Also cool to see how they timed trick runs with the red flag and the old way of measuring jump.

  4. So there was a ski-rrific and a ski-tastic? I can imagine a bunch of guys around a table in suits trying to get their new inboard boat to production. "Hey Ralph, I heard a new boat is coming to market. They are calling it 'ski--rrific'". "Larry, our boat is going to be better than terrific. It's going to be fantastic!" "What should we call it?"
