  1. Anyone else hear that nick is with D3 now? Or is this old news.
  2. My neighbor has that exact boat. The slalom wake is huge even with the trim tab at its lowest setting. It has the same hours as that one and the motor runs good but it's very underpowered for how deep the hull sits. On the other hand. The inside room is incredible and the wakeboard wake is giant for a smaller wakeboard boat. I've always thought that for someon like you a Malibu response with a power wedge is the best option. Best of both worlds but will be a little tight on room.
  3. Anymore info on different types of reeds to plant. I have the go ahead from hoa to plant reeds for erosion sake but for me it's a roller thing. Any one have a source to buy them in bulk?
  4. @ Horton I'm not reading anything into it. I was just curious if anyone saw if there were flextail slots on her ski.
  5. I absolutely don't blame her. I just thought it was interesting. Marketing is a must to sell skis. I will say, I am skiing more buoys more consistently on the n1xt than any ski I've been on. Mid. XTM and regular flextail included. Whether the flextail it a gimmick or not, I'm loving it.
  6. Yep. There is not a cutout of the front of the fin clamp. And the top ribs for strength are either XT or regular nano one. Looks like a new graphic on her old ski.
  7. Looked like Martin bartalsky was on a n1ft.
  8. On the interview she thanked Dave for the flextail but........,
  9. Did anyone see reginas ski up close? The bottom looked like a nano one and the top looked like a n1ft I'm curious if it was just a graphic in her old ski. Podium pics and post victory pics were with a blank ski.
  10. I'm looking for a Goode XTM rff for my wife. She skis slow so a 64.25 or 65.5 would be ok. She's on my Lff 66.5 XTM now which I could trade for as well. She loves the ski and has skied better on it than anything else but being Lff and having asymmetric bevels, I think it could be hurting her offside. Thanks Matt
  11. Counter rotation is an extra movement that's only needed if you've let your hands get away from you off of the second wake. You should already be countered if you keep your inside hand and inside hip connected. I can't seem to get this through my head when I'm skiing but it's perfect in theory.
  12. Trent had me ski it (66.75) as is but he said that he bet I would be going shorter. He was right. Offside was insane and on was sluggish. I moved From 6.830 to 6.825 tips old caliper 2.500 and also moved forward to .711 from .705 Bindings are back 1/8 to 28 7/8. Radar vapors. Size 11. I get up over the front of the ski a lot so he knew I'd need to get the attitude of the ski up more.
  13. @booze I totally agree. After getting it dialed in with help from Trent, this ski is so good. Everything you said is spot on. At first I was worried that it was too sticky but once I got the fin and bindings in the right spot, I am plenty wide and the ski will turn and keep going even if your not in the greatest position. Not so for me on the 67.75 FT. I'm definitely keeping this one. I'm only getting into 28 off but My 22's are more consistent and I'm really close to running 28 which was not on my radar this year.
  14. @SteveMilano My hull gets dull and hard water scale on it by the end of the season. Will this solution remove this or is it just for algae or organic material? Matt
  15. Me too @ob1. You will be able to describe it much better than me. I can't compare to original nano one or xt because I've never ridden either of those.
  16. @OB1 I wasn't working hard at all on the n1ft. I worked harder on my xtm than the n1ft Trent told me that it skied more like the xt than the n1 on cross course speed. It may have the n1 shape but the xt flatter rocker minus the Asym rocker?
  17. I just remeasured. My 67.75 ft and the 66.75 n1ft The n1ft is widet than the ft from mid front boot forward The ft is wider than the n1ft from between boots back to the tail. @Ed_Johnson I'm not sure what difference in width makes. My under standing on how high a ski rides on the water depends on the bevels.
  18. I loved being wide but I could not get the ski to turn consistently. I never tried the shims. I also felt out of control on the ft. I rode so high on the water that I felt like I had no control. And I was 2.512 deep at one point on the ft On the n1ft I feel sucked to the water but it still generates speed and width and then shuts down fast. Also. I feel like I skied horrible today and still ran a PB. I had to be perfect on the ft or it punished me.
  19. @Ed_Johnson I am 6'2" 210 The FT is the narrowest of the 3. Ft 6.910 Xtm 6.950 N1ft 6.930 All measured at front insert. The FT by far gets wider and is significantly faster than the other two. The ft tends to turn more abruptly and the n1ft carves a tight but smoother turn. The n1ft rides so deep in the water and is so stable.
  20. Ok. Take it for what it's worth from a 22 off skier. I've had the flextail for a month and have skied really good and really bad on it. It has been very inconsistent for me. I have 3 sets in a nano 1ft now and I know for sure I'm keeping it and the flextail is going back on Monday. This thing is legit. I have yet to ski on good water but I have a personal best of 4 at 28 off today in a 15 mph head wind. The turns are so much smoother than the normal flextail. I was worried about getting wide on the n1ft because of what I've heard about the N1. This was not the case. Even into the wind I was plenty wide. I'm on the 66.75. It came at 6.830 tips 2.499 .705 It was sluggish on the onside and turned hard on the off. Trent told me to go to 6.825 and move forward to .711. Still at 2.499 That was money. Or T$. I'm really impressed. I was on an xtm before and I liked it better than the flextail but the n1ft has the xtm beat.
  21. @OB1 what shallow long setting would you suggest for the 66.75 flex tail
  22. @Booze I've chased numbers all over the place. It came with 6.835 tips 2.512 and .745. I felt like that was way to deep so I shallowed it out to 2.500 but it just got worse. Rolled over way too far on edge. I'm back at 2.512 and it feels ok but not great. Maybe I should try the long shallow numbers that you tried last.
  23. Does anyone have any fin and boot settings for the 67.75 flex tail. I only have the old dial caliper so I would need tips measurement Thanks Matt
  24. Austin Abel was talking about a ski last year that he was excited about. I wonder if this was the ski?
