  1. You should see the ski he is on now. It's about to break.
  2. I'm setting up a ski for a friend on my lake that wants a better ski than the one he is on. I have an old phantom carbon and some old rs1 boots. Anyone know binding placement on a 67 inch. Fin numbers would be nice too just to make sure it's not too far off. Thanks Matt
  3. @Marco I did pull in on the north side of the lake. I missed the lake the first time because I didn't see it. I turned around in someone's driveway. I had some time before my flight took off so I made a detour. I've been trying to convince my wife to look into a job there. She is an anesthesiologist but unfortunately She is happy where she is now. I'll contact you if I'm in the area this summer.
  4. I drove by your lake @Marco this winter while ice climbing in ouray. If I had my choice of where to live, it would be Montrose. So close to telluride, ice climbing in ouray and world class backcountry skiing. Black canyon for stellar rock climbing. The dessert around Moab is not far either. Nice lake nestled north of town with a backdrop of mount sneffels.
  5. I have a 2007 response Lxi that with zero off and will have less than 500 hours on it. Unfortunately it won't be available til September. It will prob sell for around 27k if you can wait that long. It's a fantastic boat and in great shape. I'm waiting on a promo. Matt
  6. No. That's my uncle. I'm in kansas.
  7. I called on the boat at action marine. It has 72 hours. Motor had a rod problem so pcm put a new motor in that has 2 hours on it. Should I be worried about that? The guy said it should have a 3 year warranty in motor/trans. I've taken my 2007 Lxi with zero off boat off of ski-it-again. He won't trade because he's selling it for the owner.
  8. Anyone know the history of that boat? Looks like a good deal.
  9. I know. 75000 for a promo. Insane. I'm open to boat brands but still leaning towards nautique.
  10. I decided to stay away. I'm sure it would be ok but there were stains on the seats and I didn't care for the sales staff. Not very helpful. Not cheap enough to make it worth it. I'll be looking for a promo in the fall. Thanks for the comments
  11. Hmmmm. Not what I wanted to hear.
  12. San Antonio. 3 6 L nautiques
  13. Does anyone have any positive or negative experience with buying sea world boats. They keep the hours down but I think they are used hard. Matt
  14. Thanks everyone I'm set up with Trent. Spoke with him briefly and I can already tell that we are going to get a lot out of our time with him. Thanks again. Matt
  15. I did buy it from Dave. It is a fantastic boat. Just selling because the wife said I could buy a new boat so I can't say no to that. Thanks @ShaneH
  16. Shameless plug for my zero off rev r boat for sale on ski it again. Good chance to get a deal on a zero off boat. I found a boat that I want to purchase but would like to find this one a home first. Thanks Matt http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Comp_Boat&postid=32222
  17. My wife asked me if we could go somewhere to get some slalom coaching I've been waiting to hear that for a while now. She doesn't want to go somewhere where your just run through like cattle. I don't mind that but she's been with me to rini's, and Chet's place and wants somewhere a little more laid back. I contacted Robby at ski sunset ranch but she was booked for our dates. We are wanting to take 2 sets each for 3 days. I was thinking Larkin in Miami. Didn't know how laid back that was or Trent in Zorn but not sure how his coaching is laid out. Any input? She wants to stay in a nice hotel so no on site accommodations are necessary. Matt
  18. I have elbo tendinitis going into this years ski season. I was wondering if this handle would be easier on my elbow. Anyone using one with the same issues?
  19. My course was surveyed by a guy that has surveyed for many record capable tournaments. It's dead on. When @J3 says that his previous boat and several other boats do not do this. I would presume that his course is accurate.
  20. I'm always careful to press button at the pucks on both ends. @J3 Glad to hear someone else's does the same thing. I don't think it's a problem. My times are always good both ways (if that really means anything) but just curious.
