  1. Just saw the final NTSB report today of Dave’s plane crash. What a shame.
  2. We have to remember, a lot of skiers that are at slower speeds and longer lines do not pull through both wakes because of lack of technique can make any wake feel bad. On another note I was sitting in a boat watching a 32 mph skier that runs 39 ski a boat he had not skied before and wanted just for fun to start at 22. After running down the line he made a comment about the wakes at the longer lines. What I saw was at the longer lines this guy is such a good skier he was actually backing off his pull and starting to change edge at the wake which was causing him to hit the wake hard.
  3. @Horton Masters Men and Masters Women. I believe it’s a 2 round qualifying event and then the final all skied in one day. Shelby will know more.
  4. In Slalom and Trick Nautique holds the Open Records except women slalom and that is Regina behind a Malibu.
  5. The Diesel engines in my truck since they started using DEF has basically no smell. The smell from my supercharged 6.2 Chevy is pretty bad.
  6. @rockdog They haven’t put out any real numbers. The post from Horton is his guess. And no idea about the 200.
  7. @rockdog do you have numbers to back up your comment?
  8. @BKistler been out of power since Wednesday around 7pm. Been working 16 hour days so no time to take a measurement. I track it so when I get time I’ll check but I would say you’re close. It sucks living on another utilities system!
  9. @BKistler our lake over here in Winter Haven (Spirit Lake) is 2 feet below what it was in 2005. Our lake has no run in so if it rains 1 inch the lake raises 1 inch. We loose on average 1 inch a week. Our dock was under water for over a year. At the highest it was almost waist deep. The water right now is just a few inches above the dock. This will be the second time water has been over our dock in 22 years.
  10. @dan1166 spray some tire shine or WD40 on the carpet bunks from the axel forward. Then you can crank it on the trailer with 1 hand.
  11. @VermontSkier I have seen it come loose but never come off while skiing. I was actually the boat driver in the same boat when it almost happened to us. Thank goodness my boat judge Scott Greenwood caught it just before we pulled the skier. It comes unscrewed, nothing breaks. All they need to do is put a little blue Loctite on it.
  12. @dave2ball yes, because you have the bunk style trailer where the boat is above the fenders.
  13. @skihart you need to check on the 200 trailer if the bunks are frame or bunk style mounted. If it’s frame the Nautique probably won’t fit because this puts the hull down low on the trailer between the fenders. If it’s bunk style the boat sits above the fenders which allows it to fit. As far as the bunk placement in relation to the bottom hull of the Nautique, you will be fine.
  14. @wish do you have a link or part number? Also do you have a pic of it mounted to the Ski Doc?
  15. @dan1166 I have had at last count I think 6 Nautiques with the 6.2 and the 668. What you are experiencing is normal and you will feel this on every boat. It happens on full throttle. What you are feeling is the propeller cavitating. In all the driving I do I hardly ever apply full throttle to a skier on a deep water start.
  16. @lpskier Yes he did. I know Tom he’s a great guy!
  17. @ skialex can’t really think of a scenario where the boot would need to float unless using the Reflex release but then you would only take the boot off once you are in the boat. But I guess it could be a plus?
