  1. @ShaneH‌ that was my plan, but ski arrived with a fairly loose block and the ski had been hit in transit (mark on fin). Numbers I had: 6.963 2.404 .749 hence I was trying to get the real stock numbers.
  2. Thanks @Horton‌ so length measurement with tips should be pretty much the same?
  3. Hi, Just got my new XTT and trying to figure out what stock settings are with a regular caliper. No personal experience with Goode and settings and heard a lot of mixed thoughts on conversion numbers. Any help? Stock on goode site : 6.932" 2.449" .749"
  4. @Horton how are your bindings attached to the warp? Looks like no inserts.
  5. I had the opposite with the bent handle and ski ding. Skied ML all my skiing life and tried USG, within 2 weeks ding and crushed the side wall of my new mapple 6.0. Back with ML and touch wood, not a problem since.
  6. @usaski1 Try getting friendly with a local dealer, bakes are pretty expensive. Has to be flashed to 08' though. Indmar can get funny sometimes with new ecm's, probably because it 0hrs your clock. Yep ecm is just four screws and three multi plugs on 08'. You cant get it wrong.
  7. Iv just converted an 08 in the same situation as you @usaski1 had to buy new ecm, contact local dealer for that. I know bakes sell them as well. To install plug in new ecm then plug zo. I had to solder zo harness into boat harness but nothing really hard.
  8. I think bindings are extremely personal and changing time is reflected by that. Personally I went from double T-factor to Reflex and R style. Dropped from 36 to 34 ran every pass but the first ,as I free skied. Better performance at 36 after 4 sets.
  9. Thanks @jayski did you source the ECM personally or buy it from a dealer. just struggling finding an outlet.
  10. Hey Guys, Looking at converting a 2008 DBW Malibu Response 320hp. Never done the conversion before so looking for a little help. Im trying to find the eControls ECM that I need in order to install ZO as currently a MEFI, but have no idea where to buy this from and what price. The other question is do I require any additional harnesses to complete this conversion? Failing this its an upgrade to stargazer and Zbox. Any help would be appreciated. Many Thanks Adam
  11. @Waternur that is a good observation haha
  12. Picture just popped up on my Facebook. Nate on a Reflex?
  13. Our 06' Malibu Responce has 3,700hrs on the clock. Had since new. Just putting some nearly new heads on 340 monsoon. Goes better than our 10' with 320 in it. Question is, is it worth anything now.
  14. If you have specific points of too much pressure, then use a heat gun on that point of the boot shell. Once its hot enough (but not too hot) just push the point out. Will give u a bit more room in that specific area. With this hopefully you can ise the thinner liner.
  15. Joel wing has an instructional dvd. May be worth a look.
  16. Less DFT would calm the ski down on the turn and should help with width. Personally I havent changed my fin on the 6.0 with Florida to UK water. Just focused more on technique. I find the ski sensitive to binding placement . Rule of thumb, make sure you have your binding placement right before fin adjustment Agree with @waternut Andy is your man. Lucky for me only couple more weeks until im there again:)
  17. Thanks @jody_seal I can get hold of a long block pretty easily but trans may be an issue. Will do some research and speak with my dealer. Compression tested today and VERY down in 2 cylinders. Been an awsome work horse but the girl is getting tired. She hasnt taken slalom skiers since 2000 hrs but wedge down with few riders in the boat is too much now. Huge backfire and cut out for a while the other day. Second hand market in the UK Is very poor at the moment so selling is an issue, and pointless to break. Thanks Again
  18. Hi guys, Looking for some advice on re-powering our 06 Malibu Response. Had the boat since new. Running the monsoon 340 on LPG. Current hours around 3600hrs. About to compression test it to see where we stand but recently a few issues have occurred that have worried me that it wont last another season. Its not an option to have a boat down during the season so the re-power would be down this winter. My concerns lie with not the engine but transmission issues. Has anyone any advice that the transmission is good for another 3000hrs or will we start to see some issues with that, or any other part of the boat for that matter. Any opinions appreciated Thanks
  19. I like. At a tourney where the conditions are rough I would drop to 34.2 mph from 36 mph. Makes it more fun, and I would be more encouraged to compete in less than ideal conditions. I always find it more fun running into 38' at 34 than 35' at 36.
  20. @Stevie Boy What ski? I change from Florida to UK water a bit.
  21. At 36mph. 22 and 28 I pull out when the boat is about 10ft before the gates. On 32 and 35 I go when the boat hits the right hander. Turn in when the speed and line is right if I'm early or late then readjust my pull out. Unless its tourney, then go balls to the water if its late :) In head and tail I adjust my width from the wake but pull out the same time.
  22. Love at the end of the vid "another world record" haha that guy is insane.
