  1. Bit Late at 6 ball on a cold set today. Title says it what happens next?
  2. @Horton i last saw T-gas in october at Travers comp. He was riding a nano 1.
  3. @danspence can tell you about injury in HO attack's that are pretty much the same thing. In my opinion you can injure yourself in any binding. We had a member couple weeks ago break a bone in her foot in T-factors. Basically bigger gap around the ankle allows more room to come out, and if you do injure yourself, then maybe out for 4/5 weeks rather than a season if its super tight :)
  4. Every trip over to Florida i have used Elite bag packed to the max with all gear including jackets ropes towels, shorts. No movement in bag or with the ski. Made sure there is no exposed part of the ski you can feel through the bag. Trusted bringing my new Mapple back like this and was fine.
  5. @danbirch the ecom cable to connect directly to the head unit is available from e-controls, contact Ron Terry rterry@econtrols.com 210-495-9772 about the cable. Alternatively you can update via a diacom diagnostic cable. This will also connect to zero off and allow an update. The know how is pretty simple but you need the software to do it. The e-comm cable will work with aquastar display software. This software is available from ZO. If you don't fancy doing this, then contact ZO to get a address to send it to.
  6. Must say i can take it or leave it really. On + setting I ran passes I shouldn't have run from the start I had, but was this from starting a bit fast? either way my scores are the same. Only place it really helps is on the best pass for me, as I always get a big hit out of 1 and been on plus makes it a bit softer and more manageable.
  7. Simple, if you have decided what do you use + or no +.
  8. @danspence judging on the forecast at the moment i think thats what we will be doing this weekend. Either that or sitting down with a nice glass of JD watching edged in water ;).
  9. Skiing does not make money, we know this for a fact. To make money you have to appeal to the people that cant do it, but want to be involved. Tubing is the best thing at our complex, allows the erm more well built ;) individual to be on the water, requires no skill and is good fun. Plus a lot less on gas than someone doing 8 passes at 34 or even 36. We run our ski club separate to the watersports centre although they are together. The skiing is either self sufficient or a bit down, as the other less serious side is up and normally paying for the skiing part. Anyone in this businesses will tell you that your in it for the lifestyle not money. So basically anyone who will invest in this is for the sport or in it to diversify.
  10. @liquid_d you should try having to ski a season in the UK. The temps you said were pretty much the hottest we hot this year.
  11. @tfriess Camaro always include a 3 year warranty with the suits. If it rips they will repair it. They are thin but if your careful then it wont be a problem. Things like jumping on the dock out the water on your knees are things you should avoid.
  12. very strange then. Shot in the dark but try the sensor thing, ZO runs fine with just one gps sensor.
  13. Try using only one gps sensor, swap between left and right, see if there is any difference. Otherwise maybe reboot. Failing that head unit is faulty so need to contact ZO. How off are times at 34?
  14. I would imagine that sending your unit to ZO would be the best option then.
  15. Maybe a stupid question but i have the numbers off the back of my head unit, but i'm not sure which one is the serial number and which one is the part number. Anyone enlighten me on the length/ numbers or letters in it. Thanks
  16. I skied two days ago, water 41F air 46F. Suit was great, only my hands that let me down after 7 passes.
  17. 2010 Mailbu Response. Although now sporting a PTM mirror and club stickers.
  18. @MattP im good friends with Sylvia Philips who drove the event. We were talking the other night about if there is any video from the event. Thought the best place would be to ask the guys on here.
  19. Has anyone got any video of this event?
  20. Not to do with the Black tech, but if its anything like the titanium 2.0 I highly recommend it. Went for a set yesterday in the 2mm titanium, water 41 and air 45. My body was comfortably warm and super flexible. These suits are great. Cant say the same for my hands though :)
  21. There seems to be two designs available. This simple one and a more complicated grey and white version. The main thing is that the embossed am is on all skis.
  22. @doonez When i start at 55k I almost always shorten up to 58k/22 missing the 58k long line. Its a nice opt up. At first i would stick to the normal route, but soon you will prefer 22 to 15, as the whip is more present, and then its worth trying. I personally hate 58k long line. (Im 19 by the way). My advice for a new shortening although I'm not nearly as good as guys on here, is to go into it full of confidence, and don't back out. Many times I have entered the pass gently, and it puts you in a worse place. (first time i tried 28 I got 4 doing this).
