  1. @"Mateo Vargas" is that the new replacement.
  2. Eagal Lakes in Tracy Ca. eagallakes.com
  3. @dave2ball I like your idea about level 8 or 9 being treated as open. Don't have to ski regionals, but would have to ski MM or MW at nationals.
  4. We use the shower to fill up a 75(I think) gallon plastic tub on the dock. great to get into right after set.
  5. Bell Aqua lake 1 in Rio Linda might work. clubbellacqua.com I just typed in bell acqua and it came up
  6. I agree with old jumpers especially because of good bindings. For slalom a Majerajah 360 is an easy ski to get up on.
  7. I have had chronic low back issues for years and have thought about the power vest. I tore a disc in my lower back and wasn't able to ski for a year.I can't help but wonder if the PV would have saved me. We'll see this year.
  8. Wow! Just went through the on line clinic. A big thank you to all who did put that together. It is an excellent tool even if you don't need a clinic.
  9. I have had a similar soreness. My chiropractor suggested changing my grip. I use palms down getting up and at the ends.
  10. I have a 91 Mastercraft 240 horse. motor looks exactly like yours. Been a great boat about 1600 hours. All I've done is maintenance and a carb two years ago. Like Orlando76 said if any carb problems best to just replace. With the carb for the first start of the year make sure you have a good battery, It takes a bit more cranking to get the fuel up to the carb. The other issue is it needs to get warmed up a bit after first start of the day. Watched a lot of other boats go into "limp mode" for some silly thing or another running a whole day. Simple is good.
  11. I was lucky enough to ski there with Bill. Was awesome day glass just like the picture. Did you find the course or put a new one in? Congrats!!
  12. @"Mateo Vargas" Dos this mean ski league will start including trick?
  13. Like posted above tread wear is not a good indicator of reliability. When we had water I towed quite q bit. I switched from 14" wheels to 15" wheels. I went with ST225/75R15 tires and have had quite a bit more life and durability.
  14. I've skied a 1900' lake with narrow ends going straight in. It's tight at 34 and really tight at 36. Wider turnarounds at the ends would help with the shorter length, not sure if that would make enough difference for 1800'. If you could travel to one or so of the other lakes and ski it and see it for yourself I would think that would be the best decision maker.
  15. @eleeski I think there needs to be a hit no one says Camp Nason edition
  16. Was Malibu making any major hull changes for 2015?
  17. I have Apple with Safari. It signs in fine, but my password doesn't seem to work for more than a day and have to request a new one.
  18. What about the Water World guys? I think it was Paul Crawford, Jeff Howerey, and a few others filmed in Hawaii with Kevin Costner.
  19. @Bill22 Thanks for the pulls when I was up your way. Your driving was good, so all the tips here will only make you even better. Like was mentioned earlier the key to a short lake is to get to speed early. A quick glance at your tach to confirm as you reach it and not over is a good reference. You got the skills have a great day.
  20. We put up cyclone fence with the plastic slats in it. Then brought in clumps of tules and tied them to it in the shallower areas to try and get them to grow. Isn't a cure all,but helps, and been pretty durable.
  21. If tubing and wake boarding is legal then why not trick skiing? Typically as you stated before, behind the scenes politicking is the way, and or a huge showing of support(letters and or attendance) . Back to your original request tricking is usually done at 17-18 mph. Done by children and adults form ages 3- 90, and is great way for families to bond together. The last random point, when this same thing happened with snow skiing, and snowboarding, were any legal presidencies?
  22. Ski quite a few tournaments a year, I end up being some kind of official. Wish my skiing was better, but really enjoy the company at the tournaments.
