  1. when a new ski is being proto typed its pretty common for the top an bottom graphic to be made from whatever printed fabric they have extra of, radar for one company is well known for this. so it could be the graphic on a ski nate smith chose after trying several may or may not be what the final produced off the shelf ski will be. not trying to argue with ral or anyone else just dont think the graphic of a top skiers ski always reflect 100% what the ski really is so nate smiths ski could be the next generation ski with quest graphics or whatever
  2. his ski has quest graphics but thats not an absolute lock that it is a off the shelf quest

  5. no one really knows what could evolve if the gate requirment is removed. top skiers might experiment and find a completly different approach like much earlier or much later pull to 1 ball. if a new world record is suddenly set it would forever make a distincton line between 'old' records and "new" ones just like when the rope loops were changed from feet to metric
  6. have a little buoy garage for them right on the water and just tell them to go home when your done skiing. next ski day you can deploy them from the same garage while your putting on your gear
  7. in my work i design and build adaptive devices for occupational rehab clients, so i have to have some understanding of the mechanical functions of the human body to succeed. if i could post in the advance topics i would say that the trailing arm pressure makes a lot of sense from a bio mechanical aspect.

  13. loop thru the big eye with half inch double side velcro strap and then put your copper wire through the velcro loop so it doesnt where on the rubber directly. the velcro should hold up good under water and home depo has long straps of it for cheep. u can thru the loop several times with the velcro to make sure it will hold
