@paul I do not know any technical specs of the TXI but the new PS has major innovations with lifting strakes, making the boat run much higher on the water making for MUCH less wetted running surface. I would assume that it would be a good bit better than that of the SN200. Again, no clue on the BU. So for the sake of making a *** out of myself, I would say it would be at least on par with the BU maybe even better?
Excellent stuff @Marcus Brown. I have been doing crossfit training trying to get my body back in shape to ski better. I sit working on computers for 12-14 hours a day, I know all the issues you were speaking of! I cannot wait for the next installment.
@MarcusBrown , I hope to see you make a triumphed return to competition after the boat is in final production. I always enjoyed watching you ski and always watched your face to face tours you have done in the past!
The weight that was published on MC's FB page has to be a typo or the total weight including trailer.
"At 20 feet in length and 96 inches in width, the new ProStar is slightly larger, yet lighter, than its predecessor – the 190 / 197."
Copied from MC's website on the news release.
@ShaneH not sure, but it was posted on MC's FB page. I thought it was heavy too...
Length: 20ft.
Width: 96in.
Weight: 3300lbs. Fully optioned.
Fuel: 25gal.
@ShaneH did anyone from MC tell you why the pickle fork? From the pics, it's so small it does look to add any room to the bow and it doesn't look like it has any provisions for a ladder like the PF X boats have. I would much prefer the pointed bow like they did with the X10.
Thank you @Wish for the detailed info on the center Vdrive. After hearing your explanation I hope it does have it. I agree about the hips, but I like the windshield, took a while to grow on me, but its really functional, so....
