  1. Yes, they are same mold and same layup...just a new paint job. B)
  2. I remember setting that ski up for you! White Lightning!! B)
  3. Very sad day for waterskiing. My understanding is it was a cycling accident. :'(
  4. @coach3 yes, 66" based on the above. Each ski has a unique set of flex numbers and there's naturally a little bit of variance from one to the next, within a tolerance. Ask your dealer to tell you what flex numbers they have available and pick the one you want. Or if your dealer has to order it from us, you can put them in touch with me and I can pick you out a ski based on what we have in the stack.
  5. I'd say Omega or OmegaMax at those lengths, especially if you're used to a traditional width ski. Depending on your weight, I might lean toward OmegaMax.
  6. Our first quantities available to dealers in the US should be available to ship around 10/30. Production and shipping were both delayed a bit from the first estimates we were given by the factory.
  7. @vic @jepski Yes, I am the operations manager and the customer service team reports directly to me. I'm already in communication with @trickinainteasy on this.
  8. @trickinainteasy Happy to look further into this, but the photo is too close-up to really see the extent of the damage. If you can DM me a few more, I can make a better assessment.

  10. @vtmecheng I truly understand this... ...and I would be the last one to deny your purchase B)
  11. @vtmecheng The Omega Max would be the next logical step for you if a demo is in your future, but you can also still do plenty of progressing on the Omni shape.
  12. 10/10 This is exactly as I suspected in your original post. Put some weight on it and go ski. Likely whoever shipped it to you packed in too small of a box so the tubing held that shape.
  13. @Martin1980 your question: "so what ski would you recommend for someone that skis 34mph, weighs 150 lbs and working on 35' off?" 150lb skiers running 32 off don't really need wider skis, so that moves Omega Max down the list for you. So then it comes down to what kind of ride you want between Pro and Omega. Hard for me to know since I've never seen you ski and I don't know what skis you've liked in the past, but I think you might love the new 66" Syndicate Pro as it seems like most mid-shortline skiers like the added grip/downforce to scrap through your harder passes. Very shortline and longer line skiers seem to be gravitating toward the Omega (not always but we see this trend). - Longer line skiers (15-28off) seem to like Omega because sometimes body position is lacking and they need a little more help with acceleration. - Very shortline skiers (38 and shorter) seem to be preferring Omega because it rides higher and has more of a drift/smear/rotational component to the turn which can help in controlling slack. Hope some of this info helps you!
  14. @Martin1980 I will respond to this in the Omega Max thread
  15. @Frank_MA 69 Omni might be too big for you. I'm 200 myself and the 67 Omni works great for me. I've tested it down to 30mph, 15-32off. On the MAX, I probably wouldn't ski it below 32mph at my weight. I think you're better off on a 67 Omni.
  16. @Jody_Seal We sometimes see this on a small number of early-run skis as we fine tune core fit settings, etc. While not the intended finish quality we strive for, I've skied a few test skis like this over the years and can assure you that you cannot tell a difference. You'll run all your same passes. PS. those inserts are M6 for those who use our Direct Connect system B)
  17. @kylegansel Syndicate Omni can be ridden pretty comfortably into -35. However, by the time you get to running 32 consistently, you'll find you want a ski that sits a little deeper/has more down force.
  18. @Martin1980 I can see where conventional thinking would maybe make you think so, but no, this is a 67" ski that is 0.1" wider than a normal Omega. Sad? No. Intentional? Yes. At this point, we do not intend to offer MAX in other sizes. OmegaMAX has a surface area a little closer to that of a 68" Omega, but in a smaller package... it does not ski like a 68" ski. Not a replacement for a 68” Omega; it’s a more high performance version of a 67” Syndicate Omni with a width profile between a Syndicate Omni and a Syndicate Omega. 67” is the usual length for nearly all 34mph male skiers, and MAX is narrower than a 65” Omni so great for crossover women too. Depending on boat speed, weight and working line lengths, MAX can actually work for a lot of different skiers. @CParrish43 can crush 39off at 36mph and my wife can cruise 22off at 30-32mph on it. If you think you want a different size Omega Max, you might actually want an Omega or possibly even a Syndicate Omni. Afterall, this thread did start out as a Syndicate Omni thread. ;) Somebody can start a new thread when the time is right.
  19. Can't say for sure without a picture, but give it a couple days for the tubing to relax with use. Sometimes these hold their shape from the shipping process.
  20. This is an all new shape with all new materials (new core material, new resin, new layup) that was just finalized. It's not just a new top sheet on an existing mold or a tweak to a layup like is sometimes done. Everything about Omega Max is new. It will be worth the wait. B)
  21. @kc Patience my friend... it’s a 2021 ski. The elves are hard at work.
  22. @bparson Our neo sleeve has always fit the Omni. @immikerowley Omega gets a new graphic, but no change to the shape for 2021.
  23. Syndicate Omni is unchanged for 2021. Same graphic, same everything. B)
