  1. Man, I though you were trying to give away wife for a free ski
  2. I can't be the only person wondering where the video for the next pass is.......nice skiing
  3. I'd have to hitch a ride on the back of a ski to see -39
  4. Down from 228 on Jan 15 to 210 this am. Lightened up the portions and try to get 15-20 minutes of exercise in per day. Spending 3-4 days on the road for work ea week has actually been a help in this. Go Than go!
  5. Ice..........drenched in Crown Royal.
  6. @wish buy a bunch of aluminum foil and climb those poles, your smart enough to figure out the rest
  7. @horton I will buy gift cards with my expense account and redeem them for one.......let those other folks compete
  8. Yeah and each new slalom skier starts at the rope length that the last person fell at.
  9. @horton instead of through a ring of fire how about if you fall on a jump you have to stay in the location you landed while the rest of the competitors try to clear you? Should up spectator participation
  10. Maybe we could make everyone a winner and give everyone a trophy?
  11. @ms if you ever refer to a measurement again in "flat jaws" I am going to come pee in your hot tub. Again
  12. @MattP Close!! I think what @ms would say is "every setting works on a Monza"
  13. Why isn't light speed an option?????
  14. @gt2003 we currently run a 2009 196 w ZO. I had only free skied until moving in next door to @ms and started skiing with him in 2012. I've found it to be easier to work on technique at -28 or -32. I pretty much stay at 34mph unless @ms says to do something different. Watch Seth Stishers whips drills on you tube, I spent a lot of time doing that. Sometimes we play the let the driver pick the speed and rope length game and I just focus on rhythm( not as much anymore since the crashing has pretty much stopped but @ms sure did get his laughs, and I got a user name). I do not ski tournaments and don't plan to so going around all 6 doesn't matter to me. Usually it's gates w 3-4 balls somewhere. This yr we will have more focused ski time. I'm pretty sure I could run -32 and possibly -35 with a little timing. I'm betting you didn't start skiing to chase orange things.......don't forget that while your progressing it's ok to have fun. Sometimes for fun I start at -41 and lengthen for each pass. Those are the sets I enjoy the most. happy skiing
  15. I'm with @Than_Bogan for a recreational toy 40k is the max I'd pay on my own. With used boats in the market I could live with something with some use on it for half the price. At the end of the day in my mind it's the skiing I'm buying not the boat.
  16. @Wish Where did you get that Bonnett? Sahweet
  17. @MattP if us budgeting for sweet water means @MS continues to shout instructions from the boat (TURN! PULL! TURN! AHH. COME ON! YOU GOTTA TURN IN LIKE 30 MIN EARLIER!) then consider me your buyer, when are you coming to MN with the goods?
  18. I don't drink beer but I'd drink yours in front of you if it meant I could out ski you.
  19. @horton if you cut your hair you could probably conserve 1% on your own in shampoo rinse reduction........but only if you shower now, ahhhhh never mind.

    Athleticism

Not a superstar at anything, hold my own at most things. Pretty good with things that go bang! @thager I get better with whiskey...........I think
  21. If it catches on and gets some of the Wally's off the lakes seems like a good deal to me
  22. Get out your Pez dispensers and tumblers fellas it's a good time for a long time
  23. @MS I'll be a lucky pet owner If he turns out as good as KD, he's only been here a few months we can't imagine your loss. It would wreck us all if we lost him. Coolest dynamic to add a good dog to the house.
  24. @MS @Mrs_MS‌ We were saddened to receive your text of the news. As neighbors and friends I will say that KD was a great dog. She followed @MS around TLE whenever he would allow or was otherwise found curled up with him on the sofa watching hockey. The girl loved to play fetch and hang out on the club dock with ma and pa. R.I.P. KD, you will be missed
  25. @skijay right on, the skis are also concave, that's where the 1/16th thickness comes in. The further you move away from the fin the deeper you set your depth. I made a few of these for friends. They are not within .0005 of each other in dimension like I would do if it were a product I planned to market. The idea was to Make something that would last Make something that I could record measurements off from once I was set where I wanted to be and reference quickly without removing my wing Make something with minimal contact to the ski I made angle gauges that fit in the space between the tool and the fin as an after thought. Works pretty good. Happy Thanksgiving Ballers
