  1. Came across this in the Fall of 22, Have had  2 consistent ski seasons since with little to no niggles or pain that I usually experience.
I probably do 2 to 3 times a week alternating between the new and old 12 minute videos.
Find it extremely beneficial, most telling to me was surfing a week back after nearly 2 years off, back then I struggled to get to my feet through a lack of range of motion.
This time I got to my feet easily and quickly.

@Horton the newer video makes you torque your body harder in my opinion with fewer different exercises.

  2. @coach3 I mainly skied d3’s until going to Denali’s when they started production in 16.
They are just as stable if not more than traditional skis but seem to be able to get you out of trouble better with a late turn and a burst of speed to the next buoy like no other. I’m surprised there’s not more over here in Aus, I guess it’s mainly to do with a lack of demo opportunities. When i have lent mine out I’ve had nothing but positive feedback.

Dont be afraid to give one a try.

  3. A Pro Air and any Air models without the Super in front of it should be direct drive, anything Super Air will be V drive. We had a Pro Air (2000) model and it was a good boat for wakeboarding primarily but could still Slalom behind it..

  4. @BraceMakerThankyou for that detailed explanation of the Fm system.Personally I’ve not used any of them apart from either D3 Bindings or Radar Bindings, The main reason I was interested in them was the lack of a click in/clamp style brace that the Reflex/Edge systems use as I have witnessed some fairly nasty crashes from pre releases. After more research and deliberation we believe the Reflex/Edge system will be fine as long as the wear and tear is managed and of course the correct tension settings too. It’s definitely horses for courses and have talked to happy FM Evo skiers as well as plenty of people using Reflex skis without the crashes that concerned me.Hope to have something worked out for some afternoon skiing tomorrow.

  5. Looking to head over to the States and train and compete where possible, Our 18 year old

Son who competes as an Under 21 Man in Australia is unsure how the M ratings you have compare with our ratings systems. I compete as an over 45 Man but also have Open Rating and would like to ski at 36 when we are there.

We are currently looking at World Waterskiiers.com but obviously are guessing as to what we might need as far as Eligibility and Divisions to ski in are concerned.

We are both paid up members of our local federation but any help or advice on skiing internationally would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

  6. @LK_skier

We used to hold the Perth Night Jump the week after Moomba and it was well supported by the International Jumpers successfully for 4-5 years but like most things getting sponsors and organising the event took its toll eventually..

  7. Ever since I read about skiing switchfoot on here a couple of years ago I’ve been doing it occasionally.

It’s challenging and gets more smiles from me and the boat than the normal skiing.

It’s gotta be fun and hey you might find the new secret training routine that no one else has ?.
