  1. So over the last month I've tried rff instead of lff. Its fun and I've got up to running the course at 30 mph. Apart from the fun I'm finding using the muscles on the other side of the body beneficial. Got a long way to go to match the left side but it certainly makes you think and takes some seriousness out of it.
  2. The Cg fin shouldn't need a washer at all. The latest ski i have tried the Cg fin on was turning like a school bus. 67 Helix with Double Radar bindings, I was about 1/8" forward of stock recommendations. Pulled binding back to 29.75 and it came alive.
  3. I've got the CG fin on an earlier model Denali and very happy with the improvement.

I had a prototype CG fin also off the Denali which now fits in a D3 fin box, took meat off the front mainly and also some off the rear where it slots in. So if you can only find a Denali specific fin, rest assured its not too hard to make one fit in other brands.

Looking forward to dusting off the D3 with the new fin!

  4. As a repeat Denali customer I can appreciate the fact the Adams do their very best to keep all their customers happy to the best of their potential. I was blown away by the time and detail they have given me and my son in our quest to learn the skis and improve our potential. I can only imagine there are many more people they do this for.

Please dont be disheartened and when the fins finally arrive I am sure they will be worth the wait.

Thankyou Adams, we all want your ski expertise but need to keep in mind you have families and other commitments besides us slalom nuts.

Keep up the good work guys, it certainly doesn't go unnoticed.

  5. @S1Pitts

The new fin block still has an offset screw but settings at this stage dont advise running any.

From what i can see Adam has said the Denali fin block is longer/has different hole spacings to other brands so maybe the length of the fin is less to suit other brands. I dont think its thicker. As far as the wing being lower I cant say I feel an obvious difference, it just seems placed right for that fin.

I am using the ski model before the c65 but have been on one and I can say the fin helps the older ski just as much.

I am sure it will feel good on different brands. When I try it on my D3 in the shed I'll let you know.

  6. I have followed the Adam's theories and gate videos for quite some time now and have tried to adopt the changes required. I couldn't feel the gate as described the first few tries but yesterday's set I certainly did.

I dont know whether skiing on a Denali is a prerequisite but wow when it comes together it really does open your eyes.

Cant wait for the next set!
