  1. I pumped the oil out of the transmission and it took less than a liter to fill Manual said two quarts. Do people remove cooler lines for complete drain or change 50%.
  2. @6balls I don't mind the N just wondering why it was posted here the 97 to 99 is the preferred years?
  3. Was there any hull modification for the 2000/2001 years ? Is the n graphic disliked that much. Or is it the gauges and the non removable rear seat?
  4. Thanks for the replies. A little newer velvet drive manual calls for Dexron3 or 10 wt so I went with the Pennzoil ATF. I will just have to flush it with another change after the next ski day.
  5. The transmission is a 1994 velvet drive and the manual calls for 10wt tractor hydraulic fluid meeting the c-3/to-2 specification( Preferably Mobil 423,Chevron or Citgo) I can't locate this product. does someone know what Borg -Warner suggest for this vintage of transmission?
  6. Would a fuel flow gauge be an idea ? If you knew you put in x gallons and used x amount you would know when to refill. Would not replace the fuel level gauge but could be way more accurate.
  7. @shaneH no one likes to record a sporting event to watch when they can, then to read the results on Facebook or Really!!! ball of spray. If we want to see the results there are other sites for that. I was looking forward to watching the race tonight when I got back from the cabin. I know the intent was not to spoil the race for other but please please do not make this a Nascars spoiler site. We know @joey22 is not Joey Logano knows he drives a Ford. Great that a water ski company has a Nascars connection but lets not stop Nascars fans coming to this site .... Ok I will get off my soap box thanks for reading. I enjoy this site and don't want to avoid it every weekend.
  8. I was always told to never travel with your cover on as wind movement on your cover can bun the gel coat. More than one person relayed that advise
  9. Jeff Gordon did do some competitive waterskiing....JR has the most top 5s of anyone this year. Take away one blown engine and one grass clipping he is the top dog over the last 17 races.... I have raced the # 88 for the last 40 years.
  10. Watching it at a later time is what I would be interested in seeing. Takes too much time to watch live during a weekend day but great to get coverage when you can get time to view what you want to see.
  11. @Horton that last post needs a Panda. Joey the best driver ever???
  12. @bstphen24‌ . I slalom at 34 and rarely run the boat wide open but I believe about 46 mph and very close to sea level. The Euro has a 86 inch beam so lighter as well.
  13. I have the same motor in 94 Malibu Euro F3. It has run great 13 years with no problems. Lots of power for my 2350 boat. Transmissions are great too.
  14. Anyone with a vertical lift using there boat now can time the seconds pre foot of lift on a wheel lift, direct drive or side winder?
  15. @sixballs, thanks for the feedback. Aside from being much slower does the wheel drive work correctly and not slip ?
  16. What is the time to raise a vertical lift with a wheel drive verses direct drive? (almost full travel)
  17. @skihacker what about the lift mate did you find " not awesome" . Does the rubber pulley turn the large wheel without slipping ? I do not need something fast. It just has to work. My motor would be 120 volts. Thanks
  18. @19skier‌ let us know how you like skiing with the new boat. I have a 94 euro f3 and i'm content with the wake. I get complements from people I take skiing. Interested in your impressions. I find the secret to these boats is to run a max of 6 gallons. Very little wake at -28.
  19. Put me down with the other public lake skiers and no bimini. Calm water is not to be found after 8 in the summer.
  20. My three are 6.5 miles on the bike, pull ups and crunches. Some times changed up with tread mill, push-ups and plank.
  21. You can do a system reset and select digital pro. If you have version 6.4 or older you can select 1 mile per hour increments.
  22. @jimski you found a window between the fog? Seemed like between 2 and 4 it would have been OK.
  23. @jimski you found a window between the fog? Seemed like between 2 and 4 it would have been OK.
  24. Skied today at Shawnigan BC. Glass calm water. Mild temps but forgot my thermometer for the skier index.
