  1. Sorry to hear of your loss John. I know this must be a very hard time for you and your family.
  2. @MC351stars Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay. That is the user interface /display I am looking for. Mine is now almost completely blank . Can you please email me how much you want for it and how it could be shipped . My email is dldals@shaw.ca Thanks Dan Morris
  3. @Deanoski. Is your display 3.5 or 5 inches and white or black? Thanks
  4. DW is it all displays that are prone to blanking out problems or only the older single line displays ?
  5. My Perfectpass remote single line display is almost blank now and they are no longer available. Does anyone have a remote or 3.5 inch black in dash display in good working order they would sell.
  6. @303Skier I did not mean to. When you scroll down with a touch screen sometimes it will activate one of those icons. I had to go back to even see where it happened. I changed it back, sorry an accident.
  7. I have a 94 Euro F3. I also ski behind a 98 bubble back Nautique and a Malibu Sportster. The euro has a much softer wake than the sportster and at -28 and less it has a great wake. The Nautique owner often says he prefers driving my boat. The Nautique has a better -15 and -22 wake but after that its no better. There is a rooster tail at -22 but if you keep the tank at 6 gallons or less its ok. It's a flat bottom boat so choppy water is a harsh ride but I don't use it then. 1993 is the first year of no wood . I would not buy an earlier one. A number of -15 skiers have said how good the wake is. The 98 or newer Response and Nautique are better boats but I like to ski behind my boat.
  8. Does this boat have wood stringers and floor. If so something to check to see if it is solid.
  9. Throttle body injection is an EfI or electronic fuel injection. It is less efficient than direct port injection which has injectors in each intake runner verses a throttle body with is more like computer controlled carburetor. A 5 liter will be down on power to a 5.7 or 5.8
  10. @T-fromTO Sounds like it will be a great ski lake but wrong side of the country. We only have one in B.C. It would be great to get one on Vancouver Island. We can ski year around on the south island. Good luck with your build.
  11. Skied today at Shawnigan BC. Warmest ski In January I can remember.
  12. Air temperature is the most important to me. With a dry suite near freezing water is OK but below 40 air temp your hands freeze and lose all feeling skiing at 34 mph. Keeping your gloves dry makes a big difference. Also being on the boat crew air temp is all that matters
  13. Skied today at Shawnigan BC Water and air around 40. Nine of us took part. No wind glass conditions.
  14. Skied today at Shawnigan Lake BC Canada. Wind was up so we skied close to shore and had good water. Not cold in a Bare Ultra dry. Last day for the bubble back. Mine came home two weeks ago, the Sportster will stay on the lift all winter.
  15. Straightline radius handle 1.08 and an Accurate rope.
  16. Is there any concern the electronics, sensors ect on the gt40 may be hard to come by in the future?
  17. @Glock‌ isn't a 98 or newer diamond hull Response worth throwing in the mix. They have a great ski wake. Handle well. Closed or step over open bow. No side spray issues and reasonably priced.
  18. @ Horton I love the color combination on your boat. That is what I would want. Good taste you have.
  19. Skied behind the Carbon Pro at Ski Sunset Ranch for four days. I though it skied great. If it is ten grand less and skis better. Unless you have to have an open bow seems hard to beat.
  20. @I5boi‌ I have the shock tube model and after seeing Hortons video I believe I have the right one. The longer moment arm take out the jarring on the slack rope turns.
  21. @Horton I was not suggesting you go out and get cameras and do testing. What I was asking is people who come ski behind your boat and bring their cameras to mount on the Wakeye (I have one takes seconds). You pass on which setup works well. I know it would help me and I believe other ballers. Thought the panda was uncalled for but I can laugh at it. It's all in good fun.
  22. @Horton Could you do a demo with a few model/makes of video cameras and maybe a shock tube if your ski friends have cameras for testing. Thanks
  23. It would be great if ballers posted a short video and listed the type of camera they used and if it was a boom or shock tube model. My set-up follows the skier well but even with optical stabilization I get image shake with a JVC video camera. I would imagine a phone would have a less stable image. Still very useful for self coaching. Glad I got it.
  24. That should say not compare. I sometimes hate spell check
  25. I have the shock tube version and it tracks well but can more compare it to a boom as I have never used that setup
