    I’m using 4 screws with the horse shoe on the rear end of the rear plate on my 2021 Vapor boots. Gotta zoom in.

    And I thought that I wouldn’t post in this thread this winter but here goes… There’s already over 100 tourneys sanctioned in the West and about the normal amount for early January in the other regions. Good news so far is that doesn’t look like many people or places are opting out of the tourney scene.

    @ColeGiacopuzzi do the 2022 boots come with the custom footbed that fit inside of the liner?

    Funny. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t use the footbed inserts :)

    PS. I do what Eddie suggested - wear them as they are new and after a few rides they will form to your foot and break in like a good pair hiking boots.

    When heat molding I’d recommend that you remove the super feet foot bed inserts before heating. They do not like to be cooked and will shrink and harden.

    Good point @aupatking .I’m in dbl Radar Vapor boots on Radar plates with the front boot all the way forward and the rear boot as close as possible. The front measures about 1/8” forward of factory. I started at one hole back from there for a few sets but landed forward which feels good to me. So both the boots and the fin a scosh forward after a few sets.

    Ion-s - Close as I could get to factory and added a small increase in dft after a few rides. Like it right there. 68”, 32 mph into -32 off.

    @TheBird in my experience you cannot go wrong with the advice and service from @mikemapple and @perfski . The waterski community is super lucky to have them.
