The people at Teak World told me to clean it well with would warm soapy water (or acetone if in rough shape), let dry, then rub in 2 to 4 coats of 50/50 linseed/spirits.
I watched a very well done, homegrown webcast from an East region tournament this past weekend. All ages, talent levels, and an abundance of knowledge, camaraderie and fun. It sure got me stoked for next year’s tourney calendar. Based on that I’d say that USAWSWS is doing a nice job and I’m looking forward to renewing my membership.
A practice day and a 4 pass min. are great ways to get non tourney, open water skiers involved. The practice / coaching / demo day is where the local dealers, manufacturers and pros/coaches can connect with enthusiasts. The more grassroots the better.
