  1. Thanks guys. The goal is to set it back to stock (when we measured, the length was like 3 tenths of an inch too long so we are hoping once we set it to stock it will ride a little better.
  2. Hi, on the goode website, http://www.goode.com/images/wstm100101rev001.pdf Fin numbers are provided for various skis. I am of course interested In the #s for the 9900 sl but it doesn't specify the length of the ski (which I would think plays a role in the numbers) so I was wondering if anyone had the stock numbers for a 67.5. Thank you all you have been so helpful in my ski transition -KcSwerver
  3. @walleye could you respond for me and say I am attending? Our password on USAWS isn't working.
  4. I have no idea where I am on it besides bindings. I don't have means to measure the fun. The ski is a bit big for me but that's not really bothering me right now.
  5. Thanks @walleye it's great to hear from you! This year I decided to do away with longline and move to fifteen off. It may take me a while to get to 36 this year but I'm hoping to make it. As per your suggestion we looked and looked for a new ski and ended up buying a 9900 goode for under 450$ (we thought it was a good price) I havnt really figured it out completely yet but that is what skiing is for! Hope to see you at smithville this weekend!
  6. This is the setup we will be using as we only slalom and don't want to put a hole In Our boat!
  7. i am built like nate... i dont think ill be getting very large soon
  8. here is the first time i was on the course at our club which we just joined. i had a great time this evening having fun and skiing and at the same time i learned alot it was great to be somewhere and have a few people put their ideas out for the taking it really helped. here is a video (one of the two succesfull passes that were caught on video) of me running 15 off at 32 MPH behind our new to us 1995 mastercraft Prostar 190 (this thing is sweet!) i am on a 66.5 Goode 9900 sl Left with reflex front and RTP (I know the ski is a little big for me, as i am about 135 pounds as of nowbut it seems to be working fairly well) in about a week one of my ski buddies is going to help me readjust the fin, because i sure cant do it. well here it is. i would love any help, critisism or pointers, anything you have to say is greatly appreciated, im just looking to improve! Thanks -Bryan Bailey
  9. Imagine when he first saw it "ooh ya I need to take a picture of that for my website" *gets the weird eye* "oh no keep those on I want the panda :)!"
  10. Hi I'm Bryan Bailey and I'm a skiholic. Here is some background info on me. I average around 140 pounds but I'm bound to be growing I am 6'1" 16 years old. I have been skiing on my dads 80's Connelly concept which was a 67.5. I felt fine on it. So my family decides to buy me a new to me ski. It is a 66.5 goode 9900. Yesterday I went to my first tournament of the year and set my all time PB of 5.5 @ 15 off at 32 mph. (Not that impressive but I'm looking to improve) While at the tournament a few people said the ski would be too big for me, and I wanted to get your opinions on it. It's possible we could get a new ski but I really think it would be a pain to a)sell this one and b) find the right one, all without losing much money (if possible) so if you can help me out that would be awesome!
  11. I skied a tournament yesterday and had a tournament PB all with no pain in sight!
  12. They spoke briefly about it but has anyone else had success with a ventral on a 9900
  13. @deke I'm very interested in reading your articles that you posted but they require you to be a member at PSC (which I am not) and when I try to "log in at wet jacket" it takes me somewhere that obviously isn't affiliated with PSC at all. Any help?
  14. Thanks guys, iv been bed ridden for the passed day due to the flu (great timing right!?) so my back has been thoroughly rested, and I can't feel any pain. I will look stretches up for the areas mentioned. I'm 16 do you think the ailment @toddl described is likely to happen to someone so young?
  15. On the course for the first time this year today. And I experienced some REALLY bad back pain in my lower back, sort of where it attaches to the hip down south there. Trying to ski a tournament this Saturday. Any tips on pain alleviation and/or prevention. 15' off-28 to 32 miles per hour today.
  16. I have an old HO esprit (early 2000's) . 64" it is a great little ski that isn't to aggressive. It rides good in chop if you are on a big lake as well. PM me if you are interested
  17. Damn that boy is good!
  18. When pulling out for the gates. Try to be a good 5-8 feet outside the 2-4-6 buoy line.
  19. I weigh 135 and I ski on a 67" goode 9900. I don't have a single problem with it. it's crazy fast and it turns on a dime
  20. looks pretty dang good, one thing i do notice is it sounds like the ZO is working hard, compared to some of your other videos maybe? this ski, although it gets you wider and goes faster, may be making you work harder. any thoughts?
  21. @Skiron07 same here, this is the best, most comfortable liner Iv put my foot in
  22. New reflex, skied on it once, after coming off of double powershells, I LOVE it. It just feels so much more solid. No side to side motion that isn't transferred to the ski.
  23. Bend your knees a little more, in your perturn, shift your weight to the front of the ski to slow it down a little, and then decisively comit to your secondary (bouy) turn and let the ski do its work! You look like you are forcing the ski around the turns which will then stall the ski at the end of the turn, which causes lots of tip, leaving you off center which will make you want to sit on the back of your ski, creating a vicious cycle. Summary, 1.) don't force your turns 2.) stay centered with eyes and shoulders level. Hope this helps!
