  1. Looking at the HO website there a few things that i would like to buy even just see the prices. Cant find anything. Any word on prices? Especially interested in their new gloves, new free ride rope.
  2. Your toes shouldnt be what you are worrying about. I have a toe loop and reflex. I have never experienced an injury to my toes due to release
  3. @Brody I on the other hand have skied behind the 97 prostar 205 about a thousand times anywhere from 32-36 mph -15 to 28 off and although it isnt as butter as our 95 prostar 190 it was pretty damn good for being the first x-star hull (yes you are correct) but once you get over like 32 mph it is also a beautiful slalom boat.
  4. Honestly dont understand the dislike for mid-90s MC or the 97SN both some of the best boats iv ever skied behind.
  5. You always want Biggest ski that you can turn well
  6. Ball of spray is my all day ritual....
  7. Last. Freakin. Paragraph. That has got to be the funniest thing iv heard all day! +1!
  8. I honestly liked the "n-gel" I'm in the minority I guess
  9. This year was my first year skiing in the course, its a blessing and im super happy with my progress i made. My goal was to be able to get a look at -28 off by the end of the season, i am on schedule. By streatching out of my comfort zone, i have tried skiing at -28 at 32mph but i could barely make it to the ball, and when i did, i got hit with rope-in-the-water slack, sill fun to try itbut its kind of discouraging, i like -22 off alot. Now that tournaments are pretty much done in kansas i have stopped skiing at 36 so much, i know i can have a little more fun at 34 because i know i can run it everytime at -15 and -22
  10. My position over the ski has been a problem all my skiing life. I need to change that. On the other hand i did my first couple back grabs on a trick ski yesterday!
  11. Thanks for all the input. I do feel like sometimes it clicks and sometimes not at all. I know i have a terrible time getting a consistent leverage position. Sometimes i get it and BOOM its there. Other times i really really dont get anywhere. I am super excited on the prospect of getting pro coaching, there are great guys at the lake that can help me but i feel like someone who does coaches for a living might help me get a few things theough my thick skull
  12. I have skied both boats you are talking about, a 97 tsc 1 a 94 prostar and a 95 prostar (current boat) i think they all skied insanely well. The 94 MC had the softest wake. The 97 had a marginally harder wake, the SN had super low super soft wakes but its rooster tail was prominant at 36 -15. I am a MC guy and i always will be. Overall you wouldnt be complaining with any of them.
  13. On the other hand, this was one of my best 34's
  14. Here is a video at 36 -15 where out of my turn i just get out of balance. Also i am always getting hit with a ton of slack at one but ot on three or five
  15. I am getting super good results with the 2013 A3. I set the fin to stock, but im still not always comfortable on it, i just feel like its not quite right, any theorys or ideas? How do you know when a ski is "just right" I have set a new personal best on it today and i am running more of my harder passes than ever before. I just feel like something is wrong, im falling back alot and slapping my ear to the water, i know this is a body position thing but i have never had this issue before, in fact i have always been too far forward. I guess what im trying to say is that i am having a hard time staying balanced on this ski, i always feel like im being jerked around on it. Thanks, I know this is just probably something i am doing wrong but anyones help is so welcome
  16. @mwetskier i do not use that judgement at all. That sets me up at a bad line towards one, i go 2seconds after gate ball and one line up.
  17. What Kind of price. Like is it an expensive device or something simply cheap like the adj. fin block?
  18. @LOTW i have a reflex and i measure with a tapemueasure putting it to where it is touching the back of the shell and touching the underside of the release block. Consistent measurements all the time.
  19. 32 off... Dangggg at any speed thats impressive as heck! Tell them i say good job
  20. ULM gets enough fame as it is. I think its awesome to recognize Clemson as national champs. After all Nate Smith wont get mad when you call daniel di pol the national champ because they are in different divisions. I know it doesnt work seamlessly but you cant knock on someone for winning their division. Thats super cool
  21. Officially a 2.5 buoy increase in tournaments. To 3.5@36 15 off from last year 1@36 longline (scored the same untill i get my act together and run 36!!!! Practice PB full pass @ -22 36.
  22. At each end of the course i start with both feet in, but if i fall mid-course, when the boat picks me up i always start one foot in. I should start one foot always because its better on my back. I always end up with my reflex boot on a good five minutes before i go so as soon as my slot opens up im ready! Oh and i always do lucky adjusting with my fin by not hanging it off the dock/swim deck.
