  1. Isn't there a rule about ski size? Type the ski may not be too wide (must be less than 30% of lenght)?
  2. I do not think it is feasible to have one ski that runs well in 20 and also in 30 mph. Plus on the trick ski. He will then get the best combination.
  3. I have heard that the Profile boot is sligetly wider than the Vapor boot in the same size. That would be due to wider 'shells' Anybody have more info?
  4. Maybe a stupid question? So we should be 99% on front foot and most of us do not manage to do this correct. Are there any more improvements needed in ski, boots or other equipment to make stacked position much more easy to reach and hold?
  5. My first worn out under the arms and especially lower back. Less than half neopren left aftet two sesons. However it is so comfortable I will continue to use Camaro. Wetsuites is just part of skiing costs.
  6. Camaro sell spraylegs. I consider spray being an obsticle when skiing. Must be doing something wrong at my slow speed. When not use a spray leg ontop of my blacktec the wetsuite get sprayed up to my knee. I am normal size type 75 kg/178pounds and use a size M so that is not the issue. Use a cut off old wetsuite leg/arm that fits tight. Best luck Peter
  7. My two cents as a 'beginer' on this forum. I have been on the Theory four seasons. From not always get up in the starts until I made 4 bois at 55kmph. Have just upgraded to a Senate. Plus on the Theory or even the P6. You will progress much faster on a less advanced ski. They are cheap and you can then upgrade when needed They can be used outside of the specs. Johan Efverström runs 12m at 55kmp on the Theory and 11m at 58 on the Senate.
  8. It is a personal preference of how much grip support you want. Why not try the alternatives? ML has less built in grip compared to Radar Vice. I keep them in both gloves.
  9. + on kid friends. ++ on several friends. +++ on also girls friends. +++++ on ski camp for kids. Trick skiing improve sl result and is really fun. Skiing 2 behind the boat. Spray games. Best luck!
  10. What are the advantages to rotate the back binding? Is it common? Is it recommended at lower ski levels? I have never done that before but tried it yesterday. Radar Vector FF hole pattern requires to move both the toe out and heel out on the other side. I would have preferred to start with heel centered and only toe out.. It seems like it is more comfortable for he knee and also improve the off side position a bit. (I picked up 2 boies last run final pass even when it was a bit choppy..)
  11. I get frustrated! Why does it take me more than 3 months / ~70 runs to get close to last season level? Ok I guess I ski a slightly bit better now compared to same date last year but far from PB. Started ski already in April and have approx 70 sets SL and type 30 trick this year. Have been in Italy for 8 days and also in Gävle 2 days with coaches (29 of those sets). Staring to make 6 back to back passes at approx 30 mph (48,49,50 km/h). Make some 31 but no 32 yet... Have upgrade to Senate instead of Theory last 15 sets. This is 50 Km/h 15 off on the Senate. Any obvious errors prohibit me to run 32 or maybe even 34 (at my level)?
  12. It has been rather quiet about this Senate Lithium ski. Is it popular? Especially with so many 55/34 skiers in the market. Any more experiences to share?
  13. Does anybody know if it is feasible to expand the 'shells' (liners is not enough)? I have type Donald Duck feets and would like to make them wider in the front.
  14. I ski slow speed and 15off. My Vectors al frame are softer after type 300 sets compared to newer Vector ff 30 sets. Can not comment on skis...
  15. Hope it is ok to add a question under this subject B) Any short line skier using dbl Vectors? I find them very comfortable but a bit soft. However I do not think that the bindings really holds me back!?!
  16. @eddie_roberts_jr Will there also be a new Senate Lithium built on same shape/material?
  17. Does the handle type impact the release? Getting trapped in the triangle could impact. I use clinchers and ML team monster handle with plastic tubing on the rope. Have not had any release problem yet....:-S/
  18. @jimbrake looks like a Marker M3 front, Rotamat rear (non standard) and Kastinger ski boots. All around 1972 or so.....
  19. Great advices above. One more comment. If you use clincher gloves a bit smaller diameter is easier to grab. I use 1.00 and clinchers.
  20. I usually tip both the driver and the coach.
  21. Great idea. Guess you refer to slalom. I have found a great selection of instructual trick ski videos. Type 14 videos. They are in a separate subject. Don't know how to include the link here?
  22. The Theory is a great ski. Very forgiving and support fast progress. If you ski 34 I would guess the Senate is a better ski. Maybe consider the Radar Vector bindings? Fwiw Johan Efverström told me that he did ski the Theory 12m/35 off@34 and the Senate 11m@36.
  23. Radar Vector is also a great choice for that ski. Very comfortable compared to rubber and release safely (according to my experiences) Cover a broader range of feet sizes if some else also will use the ski.
  24. I use 7-11 and have feet size EUR 42-43 (a bit wide feets) Works fine and also allows me to have a 2mm sock when it is cold. Actually 2 par when it is really, really cold but then it is quite tight
