  1. Oops, I thought I knew how to embed the video (Thibaut promo on the home page) but apparently I dont, I clicked on embed, then copied and pasted it here but it didnt work, what am I doing wrong?
  2. Cool vid posted on the home page made even cooler cause it was shot while we were skiing at Swiss in March (my buddy Web is the spotter at 1:20) Great video Vincent!
  3. I live about 40 min away from Hidden Pass and have been there as an observer for a Regionals tournament a few years ago but have never skied it. A friend of mine skis there regularly, Beautiful facility, the 2 owners have homes on the lake. It truly is a "hidden" gem in Penfield NY!
  4. I couldn't agree more, we made our 2nd (annual i hope) trip to Swiss in March. Clint is a great coach, and Swiss is an incredible venue. Props as well for all the work they have done rebuilding the docks, the place looks and skis GREAT. We also had a chance to sit in the boat and watch Thibaut ? (Pro french skier) skiing 39.5 off/36 it was insane!!!
  5. Awesome, a friend of mine is a member, I plan to ski until my arms fall off! The only other so cal skiing I have done was Mission Bay a few years ago....what an incredible facility! I don't know anyone at the Quarry or Canyon Lakes...... Thank you all for the input! @bananaron‌ are you interested in that property? I can check it out for you if I have time?
  6. Any ballers ski at The Great Lakes in Newberry Springs? Will be in LA visiting family next week and skiing there this Monday the 14th, totally stoked, its going to be 80 air and 68 water compared to ice still here in upstate NY!!! (Though ice should be out this weekend)
  7. @Schafer, we are just going for the weekend, skiing the 8th and 9th then heading home, bummed we'll miss you guys but our wives and children keep us on a short leash.......
  8. Heading down there March 7th, can't wait! We rented a villa last year with a group of 6 and it was awesome, I would highly recommend it. This year there is just 2 of us and we are renting a room instead. Awesome pic's @Horton....they brought back great memories!
  9. @peebs, who do they have on coaching staff this year?
  10. Does anybody know what Ty is up to these days? We skied with him last year at Swiss and apparently he is not there this year......is he still skiing pro? I know he was injured for awhile.
  11. @colebrah, congrats on the coaching gig! Bummer, It looks like we will just miss you. last year we skied with Clint and Ty Oppenlander and truly had the time of our lives: great coaching, fantastic lakes and facilities and we bumped into Jonathon Travers at the grocery store buying beer and had a great photo op! Totally stoked to go back in march......is it to late to start p90x? i dont think these 12oz curls are gonna get me in shape in time..... ;)
  12. Well we just booked our flights and will be leaving the brutal cold of upstate NY in search of warm glassy water in Orlando, I couldn't be more stoked. Will be at Swiss March 7th- 9th. Has anybody skied there since it changed ownership? Any changes worth mentioning?
  13. Sorry @mattp.......I apparently have chronic fat finger disease, I took care of the inadvertent dislike. Its pretty sad that the majority of my comments on this forum are apologies for inadvertent dislikes!!! I will try to be more careful....it must happen when im scrolling on my phone
  14. Good lord! I just noticed I did it to @shaneh as well!!! Sorry guys, I gotta pay more attention where
  15. Oops, sorry @AB......fat fingers on a small screen! I think I fixed it
  16. We just squeaked in a December ski, weather broke here in upstate NY: air 40 water 38 Our home lake launch was iced in so we had to drive to a neighboring lake, but desperate times call for desperate measures!!! Happy New Year Ballers!
  17. Thank you @woolly110, that is a great website! @drago and @AB, good advice but I would l would like to know if my setup is on spec.
  18. Ok, so I own a 2011 Radar Vice with double Vector boots that I purchased from a local marina.......they installed the boots and I have loved the ski for 2 years now. However after reading some posts on this forum I decided to check all the specs on my ski: boot placement and fin specs as I have never done so. For the life of me I cannot find the info on Radars website or online when I google it! My son has a D3 X5 and I found the info easily on the D3 website. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to find the specs I need? Thank you!
  19. Thank you for the great info! Very helpful, i have been rockin the P90X workout....hopefully my body can handle 3 straight days of skiing after a long winter layoff......
  20. I am heading to my first ski school experience the first of april to Swiss in Clermont Fl, totally stoked but would love advice from some of you veterans: I am planning to video our coached sets...is that common? Will the school/ coach mind? we are skiing morning sets....any suggestions for apre' ski activities in the clermont/ orlando area? I've seen posts about how to pack your ski which is very helpful, has anyone sent via UPS before? Does that make any sense? any other advice or suggestions are appreciated
  21. Thank you @scotchipman, we are@ only a couple hundred feet from sea level here in Upstate NY so that isnt a concern, loads of torque with the 525. i am intrigued by the idea of some fuel savings with the 515. Will i have to re-calibrate my pp stargazer baseline if i change props?
  22. Hello, i am new here, been lurking for about 6 months and have become addicted to the site! I have a 2007 Malibu rlxi with the 340hp monsoon, it came with a acme 525 prop (i bought it used, no idea if it was original) My question is: I want to buy a spare prop, is the 525 the best way to go? I notice that the 515 is the stock prop for my boat, is there another prop you would recommend?
  23. Hello all, i am new here, been lurking for a couple of months but love the site! We ski in the Finger Lakes of Upstate NY and went 2 weeks ago when we had unseasonably warm weather, air 50, water 40....@hacker, sounds like you went out the same weekend......where did you ski? We skied canandaigua lake as we couldn't get in @ conesus due to low Water. Coldest we ever skied was 3 years ago, air mid 40's and water 36......it was pretty rude on the hands and feet.....but totally worth it! Also if any ballers find themselves in Upstate NY you can always get a tug on Conesus Lake! Cheers, Sam Rode
