Baller jipster43 Posted October 31, 2011 Author Baller Share Posted October 31, 2011 Cable parks depress me. Is Ski Ranch Oasis the lake you're referring to Dirt? Or Thomson's Ski Ranch? Or is there another? And what is going on with Ski Ranch Oasis? It looks like an awesome lake... if it had water.
Administrators Horton Posted October 31, 2011 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2011 Thompson's is not a cable park. It is ... a lake for the owners to swim in or something... Kills me. Is really close to my house. Baller Marco Posted November 1, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 1, 2011 @Horton. To answer your question, our lake (Vision Lake) is on the Western Slope of the Rockies near Montrose Colorado, about an hour north of Telluride.
Baller rodltg2 Posted November 1, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 1, 2011 Wow, so they are really going thru with it at Stillwater/Locust. Kind of depressing to see it drained. Are they going to dig it larger/deeper? Glad I made the move to Bel Acqua.

Baller GAJ0004 Posted November 25, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 25, 2011 Also to my home lake, Lake Latonka in Mercer PA. Not good for holding tournaments, but it just the right size for barefooting, and I am able to practice the slalom course in all kinds of conditions. Chuck_Dickey
I've skied a lot of sites and my favorite is the one I'm skiing on at the time. It's all about skiing with friends, be they old friends or new ones.
Baller PatM Posted November 25, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 25, 2011 Agree with Brent. Love a few lakes and some for different reasons. Okeeheelee, Hidden Pass (probably the best I've skied on), Lake Holly (had a great regional moment there) and Spencer's Pond (a lot of fond memories skiing with Dave). Baller GAJ0004 Posted December 7, 2011 Baller Share Posted December 7, 2011 If I lived in Minnesota I would have a portable slalom course and go to a different lake every week.

jefflyman
Favorite Lake, White Lake in the Adirondack mountians of upstate NY. Private lake, paradise for 2 hours every morning 8 to 10:00 am, when the course is in, fog has lifted and we start ripping it up!
Kaleb
Rainy lake is pretty cool, you can really get lost on that lake. If you get a chance, rent a houseboat.
