Baller Stevie Boy Posted August 29, 2012 Baller Share Posted August 29, 2012 Mine came with Length 6.766 / DFT .708 / Depth 2.495 Wing 9 Degree,s Bindings @ 28-13/16" have not touched it. I have been told the water breaks half way along my foot, gonna have to get a bit more knee flex going, certainly not going to 28- 1/2", not yet anyways. There was a comment about Regina going fwd a bit, I would be interested to know by how much, certainly does not stop her getting width. My next movement , if I was to make one would have to be 3/16ths either way
Baller Stevie Boy Posted September 4, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 4, 2012 Nano One, I have noticed a few people running the fin deeper, 2.502, where Horton is still running his around the 2.490 mark, any reasons for people deciding to run the fin a fair bit deeper than factory ? Baller SkiJay Posted September 4, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 4, 2012 @Stevie_Boy A deeper fin can help in cold water because it increases stability and slows the edge change a bit for more width, and/or some skiers just load the back of the ski more than others. Baller Stevie Boy Posted September 5, 2012 Baller Share Posted September 5, 2012 Thanks Skijay, I understand fins a fair bit, just that I was experienceing the ski flying round the off side and me ending up in the water, almost like I had been thrown onto the back of the ski.
