Anyone have a replacement Morse throttle handle?

Seems that the Morse throttle handle in my 1998 MC 205 is an extinct species. The wire in the handle for going in & out of gear came apart. Just wondering if anyone might have a like handle or know where I can find one. Thanks!

Can you pin it or cut the pin that prevents you from going in and out of gear? My boat doesn't have the shift lock and for the last 4 years I've owned the boat, I've had loads of inexperienced drivers drive my boat. None of them have accidentally screwed it up.
