Gold Member Than_Bogan Posted December 16, 2016 Gold Member Posted December 16, 2016 If I'm remembering the formula correctly, this morning in sunny Massachusetts, the Baller Index is -100. (water 32; air 8) It's actually not quite as bad as I expected, because there is low wind and it really is sunny. Later today could be true "hide inside" time, though. Makes those 45 degree days in SC last week seem pretty damn warm!
Gold Member Than_Bogan Posted December 16, 2016 Author Gold Member Posted December 16, 2016 HAH! No. I was brave enough to walk from my car all the way to the building's door, though! :)
Baller skiinxs Posted December 16, 2016 Baller Posted December 16, 2016 Yep, maybe ice skating is possible down the slalom course (until you get to the big hole of open water that the geese are fighting to keep open). How long until spring???
Baller Fast351 Posted December 16, 2016 Baller Posted December 16, 2016 Not soon enough. Supposed to be -24 here this weekend
Baller gregy Posted December 16, 2016 Baller Posted December 16, 2016 Its supposed to 80 in Austin Saturday and down to 27 by Sunday night. That's pretty cold here.
Baller brody Posted December 17, 2016 Baller Posted December 17, 2016 Calling for -43c tonight here!! Why the hell so I live here???
Baller xrated Posted December 17, 2016 Baller Posted December 17, 2016 Why aren't you hunting those geese? MMmmmmm goose breast and italian dressing.
Baller ALPJr Posted December 17, 2016 Baller Posted December 17, 2016 6" inches falling in CT this morning
Baller ESPNSkier Posted December 17, 2016 Baller Posted December 17, 2016 Air 75/ water 72 in Orlando this morning before the wind started to kick up. Great conditions but managed to injure myself anyway!
Baller WBLskier Posted December 19, 2016 Baller Posted December 19, 2016 50 below windchill didn't keep this brave fisherman from enjoying a day on the lake.
Baller thager Posted December 22, 2016 Baller Posted December 22, 2016 Brave? Looks like the windchill froze his brain too! Why would anyone think they could drive out on the lakes this year in the poor condition that they are in? Most in S. Mn had barely an inch of ice before the snows that made for slush on top as the weight pushed it down. Neighbor of mine broke through near shore in a few feet of water walking his dog last week in negative temps on our north side.
