  1. very nice! Maybe this is the summer I finally make it over your way.
  2. Their Masterline junior rope is already here.
  3. Kids are far enough along I can no longer allow them to use the cheap Fleet Farm rope and handle combo (or maybe I can no longer deal with the tangled mess). Either way what do you all suggest for an average 14 year old girl and a petite 11 year old girl?
  4. Been happy with @thager suggestion of tennis court privacy netting. Keeps most of the pollen, dust and rain out but keeps air moving.
  5. @swc5150 well shoot had I known there was a baller just up the road! Let me know if you guys ever play the area again, I'll give you a pull and buy some beer.
  6. @swc5150 were you at the anniversary party? I've seen them putting gas in it at the local gas station but I haven't seen it on water. Heard mixed reviews from some with more knowledge. I hope it takes off as it would be good for the local area to have sales and production take off though.
  7. @bananaron I enjoy wood heat as well....mainly cause I'm of the strong back, weak mind and free time is worth nothing school. Looks like good ice @MS bet you could see bottom easily through that hole.
  8. I like to sit in a small dark shack staring into a big hole in the water waiting to stab a northern. Otherwise I click clack (cross country ski) when the snow allows....though last year it led to a broken tibia. Otherwise winter free time is spent bringing firewood into the house, cutting and hauling in new fire wood....it never ever ends.
  9. And amazing woods riding for the non moto crowd. As well as super roads for the street bike.
  10. Hi Ho Silver Away. Requirements are that instead of saying "hit it" the skier must yell out Hi Ho Silver Away!
  11. Broke my Tibia this past winter...thought it would be the knee that was an issue skiing. Turns out it is the ankle. Don't know if it is just not used to skiing or if I did something. Last few times out I used a compression sleeve brace with some velcro straps. Felt decent while skiing.
  12. So you are to blame for this cool temps and rain!!! Looks like a nice boat.
  13. Best of luck @bananaron. I do not know of any for sale, but I will certainly help you put some hours on. Need to make this the summer I leave the local lake and drive towards your lakes.
  14. Final dock is in, lift is in. Now just need no rain on Friday so I can wax the boat and splash it.
  15. Man that is a long dock! Ice just went out on our southern Canada lake yesterday. Snow fence down and hoping to get some docks in this weekend. Boat likely won't happen until closer to Memorial, still have to wax, etc.
  16. Wife stays at home playing on the dock and boat all day while I work. just upgraded to a 2012 Explorer and that cost 15k 92 Nautiqe was 7k 3 years ago.
  17. Whoa. Looks good, can't wait to see it on the water. May have to travel south this summer!
  18. May in my part of MN on average. Ice will go in April. May sneak in in April or early May but won't ski ski until after fishing opener. Last year the boat didn't go in until Memorial Day weeekend...that was way late.
  19. Do whoever was asking about jumping after a torn hip labrum, a jumper I am not, but I was a dirt biker and was able to go ride and ski after labrum repair. But when they say 6 months recovery they mean it!!! Heck it still hurt on occasion for a year.
  20. @MS who is doing your work? I celebrated Christmas by getting a tibial nail. Nothing like @6balls injury but same style of nail. Sadly broke my tibia cross country skiing. Should be good to ski by May though.
  21. No they do not. I use them all fall duck hunting and if I dunk my hand and than grab a hand warmer (the air activated kind) it is done.
  22. no idea, I'm stuck inside with a broken leg, but reports from friends are full size trucks and 12" in a spot that somehow opened the beginning of December and closed just before Christmas. So about on average for this time.
  23. Yeah a Malibu and MC is all I recall at Minneapolis and not much in the way of gear. We talked about going to pass time and maybe get some gloves, but after a 2.5 hour one way drive, parking, tickets and about 40 minutes to see what we want it isn't worth it.
