Baller Fatroll Posted July 3, 2018 Baller Posted July 3, 2018 I just purchased a 2016 nautique team OB with the linc system. Zero off will not allow me to adjust speed (when on or off) and does not engage when throttled up and on. Spoke with tech support about it and there is concern for unit not communicating with Linc. Diagnostic page does not recognize any ZO software, serial number, etc. anyone have this issue? Any advice? Local nautique dealer (who mainly work on pigs) can’t look at it until August. Help. Want to ski my new boat!!!
Baller Ilivetoski Posted July 3, 2018 Baller Posted July 3, 2018 Well, your warranty might not cover it, but do you have a MC or Malibu dealer close by? Again, you might have to pay for that out of pocket, but I wouldn’t wait until August to have working ZO
Baller Fatroll Posted July 3, 2018 Author Baller Posted July 3, 2018 Contacted the local MC dealer so hopefully they can help. Their service department is dramatically better than our local nautique dealer.
Baller_ RichardDoane Posted July 4, 2018 Baller_ Posted July 4, 2018 @Fatroll Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a system reset ?
Baller LeonL Posted July 4, 2018 Baller Posted July 4, 2018 Not helpful to your situation, but were you aware of this problem prior to purchase? Or did it fail sometime after you took possession? In other words, did you ever see it work?
Baller Fatroll Posted July 8, 2018 Author Baller Posted July 8, 2018 I took the kick place off and the wiring harness from the dongle is not plugged in to anything. Here are the three dead ends to the wiring harness. Any idea of how to hook them up or am I missing a separate harness. I don't see and obvious place to hook them up.
Baller Fatroll Posted July 9, 2018 Author Baller Posted July 9, 2018 single puck as far as I can tell
Baller gregy Posted July 9, 2018 Baller Posted July 9, 2018 The single puck hooks up differently. Those could be extra connectors for 2 pucks. Have you pull a battery cable loose to reset the computers?
Baller Fatroll Posted July 14, 2018 Author Baller Posted July 14, 2018 I did reset battery. I pulled the wiring harness of the head unit behind the linc computer. I am getting proper voltage based on ZO schematic so probably a bad head unit. Alll other functions related to the antenna are working. Nautique sending a new head unit to my local dealer as soon as I get warranty transfer verification. Just waiting, and waiting and waiting......
