Joelh Posted July 31, 2018 Share Posted July 31, 2018 Get hay guys my question is this the connelly carbon v has a 50 /50 carbon fiber fiber glass blend the last years modal has 70/30 carbon fiberglass blend does that mean that last years will out perform this years modal ? If somebody wants to pull out Composites Basics by Burt Rutan I believe he goes into some detail about how the two different fibers work well together. I had him build all the flight controls for my Jet out of Carbon Fiber with special up swept tips on the ailerons to increase roll rate. Plus lightweight elevator and rudder.
