Our course arms are sagging in the middle as the foam is water logged. Any suggestions for what to use on the inside of the middle section that won't get water logged but will create the right amount of float to keep the arm straight? Thanks.

Cut some 48 inch pieces PVC pipe of the same diameter as your middle section. Glue pipe caps on each end of the 6 pieces.

Then use 3 large wire ties to strap one piece to each middle section.

This will provide just the right amount of flotation and some stiffening where the buoy arm tends to sag.

If you are installing the course each time you ski, another alternative might be to glue plugs, instead of caps in the ends of 6 foot PVC pipe sections of the next smaller diameter and shove it inside the middle section.

A very fast and easy fix is to put 6 green "novice" buoys in the middle of the arms, meter the lead lines to the arms to make sure there is tension, weve been doing it this way for years, plus we have a mini course for beginners or INT novice skiers.

We use a section of irrigation sprinkler line with end caps glued in. These fit inside the B-arm section so we are still able to collapse the sections as designed.

When we've had a sag mid season we've added an extra ball on a riser to the b-arm. Looks a little goofy but we didn't have to take the section apart.

We put the course in in the spring and pull it out in the fall.
