Skiing with a broken (recovered) wrist

Broke my wrist mountain biking. Perfect timing as I just PBd the day before and am in the best shape of my life.

Anyways doc says 6 weeks standard answer... I have a bone chipped off in my wrist (hamate bone).

If I immobilize things actually feel pretty good. I don't have grip strength but feel like in a few weeks I should.

I have some vice gloves so will probably try those first.

So to get my hopes up (or down - be honest) how long has it taken everyone to hit the water again after a mild wrist fracture?

Any tips to stay in shape and heal quickly?

Mild wrist fracture? I broke both my wrists snowboarding, 13 screws and titanium plates after surgery, 11 weeks with only 1lb weight bearing, jumped into the water and skied the day I left the doctors office, wrists r better today than ever. If you just have a mild fracture, you will rock it this year.
