Baller Mastercrafter Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 I’ve been binge listening Matteo’s and really enjoy them.

Baller ScottScott Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 I have listened to a couple, but don't often. I did make it a point to sit through the full 2 hours of Becky Lathrop.
Baller jedgell Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 Really got into Matteo’s and Spraymakers last year. Spraymakers helped my skiing a lot, About to start listening to them again to prepare for the upcoming season.
Supporting Member Than_Bogan Posted April 5, 2022 Supporting Member Share Posted April 5, 2022 Not that often, but do usually enjoy them.
Baller_ The_MS Posted April 5, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted April 5, 2022 Yes but I have them weeded out and know which ones will be worth listening to. There are a few “legends in their own minds” that blow lots of air.
Baller_ lpskier Posted April 5, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted April 5, 2022 I think Spraymakers is well worth a listen. Lpskier
Baller BraceMaker Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 Yes only complaint would be I really don't like having to use a podcast app to listen to them. Even the ball of spray stuff I prefer to just go to Youtube to watch them
Baller dave2ball Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 It all depends on topic
Baller lakeaustinskier Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 I've listened to several of them especially Spraymakers. I do wish that most of the podcasts were edited to about an hour. After about an hour my time is just too valuable and I don't bother.
Baller MDB1056 Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 +1 for Spraymakers. Excellent information and right length . A model to follow
Baller Cnewbert Posted April 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 5, 2022 We love Spraymakers. Since we have a long commute to the lake, it's the perfect thing to listen to during the drive prior to skiing.
Baller mfjaegersr Posted April 6, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 6, 2022 I too have tried; and if I received a dollar for every time my ears have to parse out ‘you know’, ‘I mean’, and ‘like’ (the worst offender)…I could buy BoS for $x.2 million, enabling Horton to retire. And maybe start my own podcast…on how to give, like, better podcasts…ya know?
Baller APB Posted April 6, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 6, 2022 spraymakers is great.
Baller UWSkier Posted April 6, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 6, 2022 I listen to Matteo and Spraymakers. Play them at 1.6x speed and use the Google Podcasts app to "trim silence" and your 1 hour podcast plays in about 25 minutes. You get used to listening at speed after about 5 minutes. Baller Hucklefin Posted April 6, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 6, 2022 @UWSkier I do this for everything, especially instructional stuff on youtube. Every once and awhile it reverts back to 1x speed and it absolutely sounds like they are speaking in slow motion, because well, they pretty much are. Baller Mastercrafter Posted April 7, 2022 Baller Share Posted April 7, 2022 “Ya know” makes me cringe and it’s used way too much these days, Especially in podcasts. Yeah, I know, you don’t have to ask.
Baller_ Slalom.Steve Posted April 11, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted April 11, 2022 Yeah that's my only complaint about Spraymakers - too much of a casual conversation and not enough of a crafted presentation of information. But the information that is there is so good. I just posted a thought-out suggestion in the Spraymakers latest questions thread.
