Diquat For weeds?

Any one use Diquat for weeds in lake? If yes what's your results experience. Trying to find cheaper substitute for Sonar and or Karmex

@cacman, what type of weeds and over how large of an area? We have had great luck treating milfoil with 2-4d. You can get granular product called Navigate that is rather pricy or you can rig up an underwater spraying rig and use the liquid. We generally treat the whole perimeter of our lake once every 2 years and just do spot treatments on the off years.
