Baller Jibbo Posted April 18 Baller Share Posted April 18 This is a great chance to see the trick specialists going up against the overall skiers who can trick just as well but able to concentrate just on tricks for this one event. Should be some great skiing. So many of the men can trick over 12K so anyone of these could win it.

Baller RAWSki Posted April 21 Baller Share Posted April 21 Interesting that they are showing us the ballast percentage and mention hydro-gate settings. But what is with the weight bags on the floor in the back? This is defintely a rules "no no" for ProStars------Does that equate to a trick ++ setting?? Baller BKistler Posted April 21 Baller Share Posted April 21 An entire day of top tricking. I was the kid in the candy store. New men’s world record for Pato. Matias over 12 for the win. Jake over 12. Go Jake. And what can I say about Erica? Tony, Matt, Kyle and I gasped simultaneously when Martin Larba landed a first-ever TW5B landing in the wrapped position. No one had ever seen such a thing.
Baller Cooper_Trelawney Posted April 21 Baller Share Posted April 21 I never heard who the TWBC Skier of the Day was. Pato set a pending world record. Mati got his first pro win at a really young age. Both are notable performances. On the women's side, Erica Lange skied great. I'd vote for the pending world record and Pato Font as the skier of the day, even though he came in 3rd in the finals. Curious to know how that audience poll went. He "created" a new toe trick (TW5B) which is pretty crazy to do at a pro event especially for first trick. My angle wasn't great but to land in the reverse, hold it and move straight into the TWBB is insanely impressive. He also had every other pro there baffled which in todays days and age of social media and the small world were in is rather impressive in itself! Everyone does preturn but the way she jumps quite late of a flat ski make it quite obvious. TWLBB looks like it would have been foot in the water before she landed or got to the back
Baller bojans Posted April 22 Baller Share Posted April 22 Great event, I really enjoyed watching the coverage. A huge kudos to TWBC, it seems they up their game every time they cover an event.
Baller BKistler Posted April 23 Baller Share Posted April 23 @bojans Agreed. The combination of drone and boat footage was well done. Thankfully they have learned not to switch views in the middle of a run, or at least not very often. Using Matt Rini and Kyle Eade as color commentators was a good move.
