  1. I always enjoy listening to @MarcusBrown . That was fantastic, insightful and informative as usual.
  2. I use the same boot with a Intuition Splash liner which I've found is amazing. Great quality and perfect thickness for me. Complete next level from Reflex liners.
  3. @Than_Bogan you're a smart guy what the hell are you still using the disease bucket Explorer for? At a minimum Chrome or Firefox man! I haven't used Explorer since the turn of the century... and even then I think I got infected with something.
  4. @o2bnMaine I think a lot of skis bounce over at 22 off to be fair. Nevertheless the ski sounds like it's worked for you so another review of it once you buy one one would be good to read as you're about my level.
  5. I reckon Nautique might be happy about this just quietly. WR #1.
  6. I'd rather be swept up by the hurricane than listen to Pink Floyd.
  7. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest Damir does not sleep or go to school and may even be a robot who spends his days behind the boat. Let us wait until he realises there's no money in waterskiing and he has to get a job like the rest of us.. Actually it now occurs to me he's not even old enough to legally have a part time job. He might be down to a 49 off rope by the time he's 18.
  8. Aah gee (sigh) I've no answers here but this is embarrassing for our sport. Honestly it's just turned into amateur hour.
  9. They've STILL got the Red and Black thing @ozski which you're familiar with at Nautique Central they can't get rid of, give it to him I say. B)
  10. Correct @UWSkier but after 1000 national titles in a row and they still haven’t stepped up, not sure what’s going on there.
  11. @ozski I suggested to Nautique directly about 2 years ago and they said "we keep an eye on young up and coming talent". I took that as a no. As you would know with Jacinta, they're not exactly helpful on this continent on such things. Maybe we lean on Malibu or Mastercraft on his behalf?
  12. It means Joel and Manon are what we knew them to be, in the top few slalom skiers on the planet. Their ability to handle the conditions got them to top of the podium - with the help of their GTR’s of course.
  13. I cannot explain how absolutely stoked for Joel I am. Great fella and bloody hard worker, well deserved.
  14. Here we all are wishing we could ski with him and your daughter is accidentally doing it. :p
  15. I hope daughter one day learns how lucky she was to get coaching by the great man!
  16. I think I just read a bunch of 'white noise' @gavski .
  17. A GT-40 has even better torque and hole shot I think so that’s pretty impressive with the 343.
  18. Honestly I think the week off may well fix it. Sometimes you can just ski too much and bad habits creep in incrementally and you don't even realise. Having the break can be a reset. Worked for me in the past.
  19. 140 km's (87 miles). 1 hour 40 mins. and don't I love it..
  20. Also, I must admit I've always thought the Denali skis were probably not really for me as I'm a regular Joe around 32 off 34mph and not really a tweaker and tuner sort of guy but Adam's amazing skiing of late makes me think this is some kind of miracle ski that will take me to 38 off tomorrow so might have to have a good think about it now! Granted a lack of ability or time on the water holds me back, but running those scores as regularly as he is, there couldn't be a better marketing platform for the brand.
  21. That site at Little Mountain must be good, didn't Nate set a record there as well some time back?
  22. Yep every podium he looks the same.
  23. I can’t believe US still mostly haven’t changed over, metric is so much easier. The refusal to even want to learn a clearly superior system staggers me.
