  1. Adam Sedjlmajer has a pretty comprehensive playlist of crashes, mostly jump but not all. I am proud to be first in the list!
  2. That looks to be the case... https://www.wakeski100.org/cover-entries/tricky-ricky
  3. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the 2000 PS190 that was my main pull from 2000-2020. It had the LTR330 with about 1500 hours. It drove well and skied well. Skiers in the group were from 28/15off to 34/38off. I was a wake-picky trick skier coming from a 1983 American Skier, so the trick wake was my primary dislike. I wasn't crazy about any trick wake since the American Skier, but it was certainly better than any SN196 I've skied behind. The women skiing 28-30/15off preferred the 97 SN in the group for its softer wake and pull, but happily skied behind either boat. The only real problem I had was the failure of the Faria gateway box in 2017. I replaced the gauges with the analog conversion kit from Ron Tanis. If you get one that still has the digital gauges I would disconnect the pitot tubes from the gateway and seal the openings to hopefully prolong its life.
  4. @Jody_Seal That would be the Hover Craft of Ski Skats!
  5. @Andre You can be sure there will be video. 😁
  6. Winter crazies shopping. I plan to get through the course on one of these this year. It's going to be easy! These are like a Wide-Ride and a Big Daddy compared to my proto Denali 0.5. It'll be like cheating with a fin and bindings!
  7. Here's a slalom for sale https://fluidmotionsports.com/products/rare-vintage-saucier-ski-fully-refurbished-with-original-boots "Note: Due to age of materials this ski should not be ridden."
  8. I'm guessing that was not an intentional typo 🤣
  9. @BKistler Just last summer I pulled a Saucier out of the ski archives in the corner of my garage and put a "modern" binding on it. I was really surprised at how well I could ski on it though I did have to adopt that hoppy style of the 60's out of fear for my knees and face.
  10. Let's add to it https://vimeo.com/361511280
  11. Less if your standing in the same place, but that doesn't answer my question.
  12. @adamhcaldwellWouldn't lowering the anchor point essentially be the same thing as "leaning harder"? It would seem to me that the elastic bands provide the compressive forces you are looking for with the anchor point at a more realistic pylon height... no?
  13. Oops, 1-off mismatch. I thought the names were below the pictures and you were looking for a new name. Turns out it was "The Tickler" I preferred. Camille is nice too!
  14. Plain Jane? Camille was the sexiest!
  15. @lpskierI trick ski with Susan and she's not lazy!
  16. @horton has seen the future!
  17. I refer you to GUT 102 load and speed are inversely proportional. "Leaning harder" is therefore counter-productive. Gaining speed is the result of a controlled fall in the direction you are headed.
  18. I was kind of surprised at the nightmarish ski dreams you guys had. My low-gravity, no-boat, dreams memories are nothing but joy. Maybe the power of suggestion but last night I had a ski dream that wasn't a nightmare, but there was no joy in it. Someone was preparing me to jump. The visual was my POV looking at the floor with someone's feet and a stack of new yellow-orange Stinger jumpers in a couple lengths. "What size bindings do you need?" he asked me. "here's a 4.5". There was one of those angular looking EP bindings sitting on the floor - I forget what they were called... System something? I could hear music playing. It was Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift (I'm not a fan). I just looked up the lyrics. The first line is "I have this thing where I get older, but not wiser" (!?) I haven't jumped in 40 years! Maybe I'm just suppressing the bad ones. What the hell else is in there!?
  19. I've been holding steady at 57kg. I need to get to 56kg by the end on May for my next powerlifting competition. I'm enjoying a Belgian style Triple Tripel Trippel right now. I just can't comprehend the major gains and losses of you big guys! 😜
  20. Prompted by @horton dreaming about EP tube wings. Do you have any memorable ski dreams? My most memorable ski dream is running a pass on a dead calm lake without a boat or rope. I did a complete circle around #6 before going out the gate. Just the other night I dreamed I was doing TWLB's . There was a rope this time but no boat or wake in sight. I did one after another and floated effortlessly over the rope. It seems there is reduced gravity in my dreams.
  21. I love my My 166 sq inch Zepto. Adam gave me 60% off a Pico.
  22. @BKistler you are an inspiration. I can only hope to be where you are when I get to men 8. I'm hoping to outlast everybody and get to the top of men 16. ... and thanks for not skiing in MM ;)
  23. @gloersen that won't fit anything requiring unleaded. Max nozzle size is .85" for unleaded.
