  1. Is this what you're looking for? A small brochure that shows all the skis came in the bag. It's from 1986. I don't know that there was another version of the ski other than the original with the green bottom.
  2. @Luzz Is there anyone selling AquaFlyer in the US?
  3. During the day instead of working I will be clicking relentlessly on my ski favorites hoping someone says something interesting about skiing, checking shipping status of equipment I have ordered even though I have everything I could ever need, and checking the weather conditions at my ski sites for the first signs of spring. At night I will prepare by visualizing passes before I dream about them.
  4. Leave your ski at home and just take your bindings. Demo some skis when you get there.
  5. A Ho might be fun but I'm hoping for a lasting relationship with the C85.
  6. Get the C85, It is awesome! A 5 ball tournament PB on it for me this year.
  7. You seem fairly obsessed with wakes. All ski boats have them. Perhaps you need to give cable skiing a go to be ultimately satisfied.
  8. I have a pair and the fit for me is fine. They fit right from the start and they didn't really stretch. They are light and less bulky than most other gloves with more panels and seams. I also liked the idea of no velcro, but... I found that when you open the boa wide enough to get your hand in sometimes the wire slips out of the plastic piece that retains it. Not a problem like Velcro where it comes loose while you're skiing, but a pain when you have one glove on and the wire falls out on the other one before you get it tightened.
  9. It is actually off-center. They mentioned it on the broadcast. The ski is asymetrical.
  10. Only a 16th? pfffft ... off more than that is good for silver!
  11. This building always got me excited while driving down the PA NE Extension on the way to Dividing Creek to ski, wondering what could this company possibly do? I need to work in that building! Yeah - I'm a tricker It was probably a dozen trips until I noticed the building next door... ONE.
  12. Point of information - the melting temp of polypropylene is around 300f. That's a bit hot to the touch. Lube your rope!? Are you people serious!? To the people suggesting it, do you really do that?
  13. Just bookmark this link and you can get to all the stuff that still works from there http://www.usawaterski.org/rankings/View-StandingsHQ.asp
  14. @Mastercrafter 41-freakin'-off!! Incredible!
  15. The dismount is in this video I must try that!
  16. Most of my jump crashes are lumped together in one memory because there's so much more time to think while looking up at the nice, blue sky ... "Oh shit, this is gonna hurrr......" BLAM! And then you instantly get the sense knocked out of you and go do it ... again! The only jump crash memory that stands out is when I put my arm through the handle. Slalom crashes need video to recall. Standout crash from this year (more pictures here) and then there's this
  17. Broken foot as a result of not heeding the warning to not use HO Approach with RTP. I went OTF the first time I cranked down on the lace and my foot just couldn't make it past that velcro strap. If I had both front and back firmly attached I probably would've been fine.
  18. How's his twin brother Zach skiing? He wasn't far behind skiing with a cast on his arm a couple weeks ago at Lake Holly.
  19. @shoeskiman 100% silicone caulk using this method https://www.instructables.com/Worlds-easiest-silicone-mold/ Knead about a golfball size piece and hand form it around the release. Take care that you don't make it too thick that it impedes the release mechanism. Note how the parts move when it releases. I would also recommend you don't store the release with the cover on so it can dry out.
  20. According to my linked article, you are hardly a freak if 42% in a survey had a longer second toe. This is certainly something to take into consideration when sizing boots or recommending sizes, so this isn't a complete derailment of the topic. Maybe @brooks can create another replaceable toe piece with the Horton/Morton toe 2 extender.
