Thanks. I use dual lock on my current ski with Goode's power plate. I'm not super crazy about it just because its not a "so to speak" clean installation. Thinking about going with bolt on for the next ski, but don't want to sacrifice performance.

Hi Gang, Fastening bindings to ski's. Any performance benefit to using dual lock vs binding screws to mount bindings? I seem to remember reading somewhere where dual lock allows the ski to flex "more" naturally?.?. Thanks, Matt

Thumbs up to The Liquid Edge in Farmers City, IL. Just completed a couple of coaching sessions with Doug Meeker and got a whole bunch out of it. Put me miles ahead of where I'd be on my own. Finally decided I needed some coaching and googled waterski coaching in Illinois and found them. Good deal, as they have their own lake with a couple of courses for different wind directions, plus they are a MC dealer so get pulled behind the latest and greatest pro-star. Doug helped me out a lot and he's got a beautiful facility with a friendly staff. Looking forward to heading back down there with @LakeOneSkier .

Be surprised if Nautique builds a lower cost three event or wake board boat when Correct Craft just bought Centurion and Supreme... I'd rather see some cool new technology!!

Maybe the slots create turbulence that helps reduce drag on the tail like a stepped hull on an offshore powerboat?

I have to say that a longer ski always gives me more confidence charging across the wakes in the heat of the moment...

@swc5150 Yea, this is all about lawn care and cars. It has the 8. I think either one has enough power, I'm just not big on towing any sort of load over distance with a unibody chassis.

@Skoot1123 Cayenne. Ok for putting boat in the water, but would not want to long haul with it.

@rockdog Thanks for the compliment. I have a thing for early 70's vintage Correct Crafts and this scheme is reminiscent of them. Was lucky to come across this boat as it has very low hours, a 6 liter and the previous owner was beyond meticulous with his stuff. Its near showroom condition...
