  1. Good call @Ilivetoski‌, how I check for vacuum leaks, keep in mind I am a farmer and a hot rod builder, somewhat redneck too, is with the engine comp open run it to the point of bog, spray a bit of ether or WD 40 around the intake runners/throttle body, if you Hear the bog go away or the engine fire properly, you know you have a vacuum leak. That being said you have to be fairly precise to not start a fire... Beings as it starts doing so after its good and warm (expansion) makes me lean towards a vacuum prob.
  2. Sounds like a lean backfire caused by a air/vacuum leak.
  3. Yes the 3 does, I have the same set up and I can fit ski in bag, vest, handle and all in mine, had flown if multiple times, strapped it to the roof of rental cars and SUV's and it holds up great, also fits 3 sets of downhill skis and poles.
  4. Looks like a stellar lineup this year, hope the weather is a tad bit warmer then last! Who will be attending? Should be some great skiing, some new course records I'm sure and maybe more.
  5. Hope to head out tonight for a set, will get some better footage.
  6. The video isn't as good quality as I would like, I will try and get a better one next week
  7. So here it is end o July and I have just skied my 2nd set of the year... Pathetic yes I know but it comes with living in Alberta and workin in the oilfield, this is a 15 off at 32mph, I have trouble with slowing down prior to turning in for the gates ad getting slack because of it, also have trouble with elbows in hands down, bad habits from free skiing for a lot if years, I can get through 22 @34 mph once I get skiing more, I would really like to get to 28 and even 32 at some point. Thanks and don't rip me up too bad!
  8. Sorry @horton living up here In alberta working In the oil patch I don't get much time, I have only skied 1 time this year, so I try to not fall into a depression by avoiding anything to do with skiing... This not reading about it even.. Lol
  9. I see that CP is back skiing on a Goode ski? What happened to Mapple? Don't make fun of me too much if this is old news lol!
  10. I'm no pro but you can probably set it the same as the strada, Rossi has a general setup vid on YouTube, I had Matt Rini set my ski in Florida last spring and wow who knew how much difference it makes!
  11. well heres the update, going to PHX.... ugh, rented a house, did some research, turns out its only 1.5 miles from firebird lake! (ASU ski team site) and $250 for a month pass! any skiing is better then none as our ski season is a couple months away yet.
  12. the question is wait for the full 8ft of water or is 5ft close enough? min of 2 months yet before our 3ft of ice is gone....
  13. Wife doesn't want to go to Florida, so that's not an option right now, I would live to spend a week down there skiing sets all over, so PHX or Cali it is, just looking to blow the dust off after this ridiculous winter here in Alberta! And get some instruction if possible. Looks like some gorgeous facilities in PHX but no schools or clubs? Central California? Any insight would be awesome thanks!
  14. It's Matt Rini's in Orlando at his ski school. Great setup!
