    I’m shocked at the number of skiers that don’t use the kill switch. In fact, I’ve NEVER skied with somebody who uses it. Heck, I’ve added kill switches in all my boats that didn’t have them.

    When it happens to a Borg Warner 71c BW 72, PCM 40a and PCM 80a or any other drive I’m aware of it means transmission is kaputt.

    I can play ball, Pissing in the wind is what I do best. @bsmith I’m always short pulling and accused of giving up. This particular day I skied 5+ Rico’s And my last pass I said to myself as I yelled “hit it” I was gonna pull all the way to 6, no short pulling. So I guess I tried riding out the lean lock. Looking back at it, a day of 5 buoys is better than a year of no buoys. Looking back, without video, but a morning full of “you’re looking good’s” I question the ski and it’s set up.

    Lean lock cost me my leg, and my sanity. Not sure what I did wrong. Partner said I was doing good. Definitely lean locked is all I’m certain of and felt like fin bounced and then grabbed at a really wrong angle. So far we have bindings too far forward and bindings too far back. I just don’t remember where I had my bindings, only had ~10 sets on that ski.

    I spent the day looking on the computer for a picture of a 50” Snook I caught in 2010. My wife swears it was an actual photograph and not on the computer.... it took me a few minutes to comprehend this gibberish she was speaking. I forgot there was a time of an actual photograph. Either way, Sebastian Inlet Jetties is where you want to be for snook but that’s 1:45 to the north from okeeheelee. If you catch them, I guarantee you I can cook fish better than 99.9% if anybody out there as long as it’s not fried. Fried fish is for Yankees and is truly blasphemy!

    You inspired me today. Decided to replace my year old Masterline handle and rope that had maybe 30 sets on it. Decided to try InTow this time. I like the idea of the customization with her. I was spotter in the boat when a ~225 lb -28 skier popped the handle and it caught the throttle. Went from 34 mph forward to almost 34 mph in reverse in blink of an eye. Needless to say transmission self grenaded on itself.

    Fishing? Blasphemy! We can’t have that kind of talk on this site! That’s almost as dumb as talking about skiing for the fun of it and not compete in a tournament, skiing behind a boat that’s less than $20k, or perfect pass, or boats with no mufflers. Aggghhhh!!!!!

    @aupatking blow up the pictures and look at the beat to hell gelcoat. Keel is missing gel coat, what’s all that scarring on the back end? If you like a junker, well go ahead.

    2002. That’s not a project boat by no means. It’s a parts boat. But if you want an excal there you go. Wonder if the single PP display works? Doubtful.

    My D3 goes 85mph when I’m cruising down the turnpike.

    For the next 2-3 weeks I’ll be working 2-3 days a week across the street from the lake. If anybody is interested in skiing before or after work I can bring my PP boat. Coming off a bad ski injury and don’t have many people to ski with. I’m just free skiing like it’s my first time again. Not sure of the course conditions out there, maybe the Saturday regulars can chime in?

    Spin in? As in making a turn and crossing wake? Wake will trigger a false magnet.

    Increase the RPM. Best to set RPM baselines for all speeds, jot numbers down. I have my older PP giving excellent times every time. Don’t forget to adjust head/tail wind if you like skiing in wind.

    I got this..... not the worst but within top 10. October 26, 2018 Centerline of the boat, coming out of 5 ball. Just got ok from doctor this week to start light duty skiing. Going out Saturday for the first time.

    @aupatking I do have it turned slightly clockwise to bring my rear knee up and back into backside of my front knee. I’ve had a coach work me that way. Not sure if it’s gonna stay that way yet. Just got the go ahead to ski and can’t get opportunity until this weekend. Coming from Wileys. But if I use the two other bolts in the other two rear holes like in my first pic, 180*linear is all I can achieve without modification. Or am I missing something?

    @ballsohard yeah the Stealth Gloves! I kept thinking Dodd gloves but I knew that wasn’t right.

    I have big hands, at least compared to most skiers and I wear a M or ML. Either way, only gloves I will ever wear. Got tired of not feeling crap and replacing my HO’s and ML’s after 25 sets. I saw some pink and blue gloves at perfski the other day..... ummm drawing a blank here........ jump skier that recently started doing gloves.... idiot moment here... those sure looked and felt like MNI but are $20 more.
