  1. TWBC provides broadcast quality video with great additional content. Wades World and commentary from pros during the tournament.
  2. @RazorRoss3 Saturday amateurs 9, pros 1, Sunday amateurs 1 pros 4.
  3. @APB This is done by the AWSA boat test held annually. The boat companies have to pay a fee to get each model tested for approval.
  4. @aupatking I agree. This matter should be left up to the pros. We'll never get close to it presenting an issue for us.
  5. FYI I have a 2004 SN and my temperature gauge reads 0 at times. The digital gauge works fine so I don’t get too concerned about it. My engine temperature always comes up to 160 degrees within 10 minutes running at idle. I did have to replace the thermostat a couple of years ago because it was running (poorly) cold.
  6. Dane is a very nice fellow, I met him a few years a,go at a local class c tournament and have spoken with him several times since then at the Malibu Open. He his very dedicated to the sport. Accomplished as well, his skiing is phenomenal.
  7. I bought a pair of Goode ski poles a couple of years ago. They are very light and it does make poke planting much more fluid when alpine skiing. I really can’t believe the difference experienced.
  8. The Starbrite teak cleaning kit has worked for me for the past 30 years. Excellent product.
  9. Agreed, about as useful as the Waterski boat reviews in the latter years. Initially they were honest and then advertising dollars took over. A serious buyer should be wary of trusting that magazine for honest reviews.
  10. @dave2ball @klindy I’m aware there is no direct connection to Nautique, only clarifying a tight alliance.
  11. @Stefan If you’ll look closely at his ski it has a Silver Spray Sports decal on it. I suspect that’s where his Nautique comes from.
  12. I’m pretty sure that was done at Ski Paradise in Acapulco many years back.
  13. @escmanaze You live in the second driest state in the USA and the developers keep on building. I first started visiting Utah in 1988 for snow skiing. The population soared after the 2002 Olympics and has been mushrooming due to California pandemic residents seeking asylum. It’s only getting worse. Get out while you can.
  14. Lake Burton = BIG MONEY. Among others Nick Sabin has a $8 million dollar home there. Many wealthy Atlanta old money folks live there and have for decades. Who knows why the jury awarded this amount for an event that was easily prevented.
  15. Insinuating that all ballers are >65 years old! MC is going to catch hell!
  16. The IRS may also be interested in your neighbors non reported income.
  17. @The_MS Charleston is the number 1 tourist destination in the USA. I believe the Malibu open should stay there. I’ve been to the past 4 tournaments and the number of “public spectators” is growing each year. Adam Caldwell is doing a fantastic job with food vendors and having TWBC broadcast the event.
  18. Unfortunately this is a situation for 196 owners due to the gateway box that Nautique used as part of their dash instrumentation package. I have a 2004 and my gateway box is mounted on the transom. Many folks have complained to Nautique but they haven’t gotten any resolution. Some have chosen to mount another hour meter under the engine cover. If you have Perfect Pass you can read your hours there. Also the Diacom software can display your mileage to include time at each rpm range for the truly information seekers.
  19. Coble Ski School Lillington NC. April Coble is excellent with kids and has trained thousands. Many kids have gone on to attend tournaments and excel in slalom, trick and jump.
  20. @KRoundy Most of the pros will be there on Sunday. A few of the pro women will be there on Saturday as well.
