  1. November 1st skied 2 sets, taking 2 to 3 weeks off from skiing and working out. I skied more this year than ever, started in late January got to love central Florida.
  2. If you make it to Orlando, I would be happy to give you a pull
  3. You guys, Florida is the ski capital of the world!!!
  4. @Kelmatais You can bring your new MC to Orlando this winter and hang it in my boat house, I will pull you when in town. you just have to leave the keys :)
  5. This is the one that was pulling the tournament in Orlando Area last weekend
  6. I skied in rain my second round at Action last Sunday, so much fun. I thought the boat judge was throwing pebbles from the boat at me. Funny thing, it ended up being my best round
  7. I have made great improvement this year by not working so hard behind the boat. Basically set your angle out of the turn and hold that, there is no need to lean away hard. As the rope gets shorter the more angle you need. By leaning away hard makes you to fast and hard to set up for your glide and pre-turn. This has helped me run consistent 28off to making my first 32off this year and now they happen almost every set and i am getting around 3 and 4 at 35 off most sets. This also applies to my gates, it's Strange but as the rope gets shorter i need to work less through the gates. The pendulum swing speed is greater on a shorter rope. A big Thanks to Freddie Winter and his coaching!!!
  8. I have not heard from Jody PM him also he must be busy. @markn don't start upping the price :/
  9. I have driven and skied behind this year, some in tournaments I ski 22-into 35off all the boats SN, new 200, 2020 and 2021 MC ski fine. Yes the bump at 22 is slightly more noticeable on both the SN and new 200 but I tend to come off my pull early and flat ski at CL at 22 off. SN no epic fail great boat and easiest to drive.
  10. Can I just say I AM SO EXCITED!!! what a great list of women and men skiers. I will be glued to the webcast
  11. Not sure why you fully inflated on Wally skier site it says " Recommend not to fully inflate" do you think they will not be round or smooth out once there out in the sun once installed?
  12. Cool I am 5’7” I have an Excuse. Oh dammit Regina’s 5‘4”
  13. Actually the new binding is on the old ski I have about 75 sets on them , the old binding has a new liner and was just repaired.
  14. I bumped this post I have been skiing on a 2018 D3 NRG It now has an excess of 250 sets on it. I Have another Identical Ski that has never been skied on same identical bindings Same exact fin settings and wing angle. All I can say is the new ski is more sensitive. Meaning coming in my pre-turn it just wanted to turn, I ran over a few buoys everything else felt about the same. Second set I just had to be more relaxed and not push the ski and I skied fine. I run 22 -32 battling 35off.
  15. I am not much of a beer drinker, now Tequila that is more me. What is funny is this is my first year competing, the night before my first tournament i had a shot do help me sleep. I did pretty well. Before the next tournament I did the same thing, ran two more buoys. My third tournament I did two shots because it was a one and done tournament ran 2.5 buoys more than the second tournament. I am 1.5 buoys from my best PB in practice may see if three shots is a good thing or not
  16. So when the temperature drops below 68 degrees it's time for winter break. yeah I live in Florida
  17. @Zoro957 Thanks, we live in Orlando we are flying out to Salt Lake for a Family obligation. We thought it would be fun to ski on our way back home
  18. About 30 years ago a group of us use to drag my boat up to Lake Cumberland from Florida to a buddy of mines parents house in the mountains, used his pontoon boat as our floating dock. When we went to State dock they told us about a slalom course. It was my first time through a legit slalom course, I was hooked. I would ask them at the State dock
  19. @escmanaze 70 is fine and Rifle CO. would be great but if we ski Sunday morning we will not have time to stop on the way to Denver to ski, we will have to ski some were in Denver the next day. Its about 8 hrs to Denver if we ski in the morning and scenic stops on the way, remember we are from FL. mountains are something we never see plus I am not a good travel partner on the road i need to stop and stretch my legs every two hours. After Denver each day is about six hours so its going to be easier to stop on our way. Now that i wright this if we don't ski in Salt Lake before we go we could stop in Rifle
  20. One of my Xmas present last year was a membership. At that time we had no idea the world would change as it did. It has been my first year competing, a little delay but have been to three so far. A little nerve-racking but fun, guess it helps to run two more balls each tournament right up to one ball shy of my practice PB
  21. Here is the updated travel plan for our cross-country ski trip in August. If you know someone who is willing to give my girlfriend and I a pull it would be greatly appreciated if you could put us in contact with them. We are more than willing to pay. Here’s the rough itinerary: Somewhere around or in Salt Lake Sunday morning August 16th. Denver Monday 17th morning. Salina Kansas either Monday evening or Tuesday 18th morning. Oklahoma City Tuesday evening or Wednesday 19th morning. Shreveport Louisiana Wednesday evening or Thursday 20th morning. Mobile Alabama Thursday evening or Friday 21st morning. Thanks in advance for your help.
