    PCM 6.0 oil

What oil does PCM recommend for the 6.0 with 409 hp.
  2. Ed Johnson if you were looking to buy a fin for the NRG at 32 off do you have a recommendation between the CG and the Whisper Fin. Thanks.

    NRG 1

I am using a 66 inch NRG. I like it very much. Interested in two things. First I have lost weight and may belong on a 65 inch ski. I am 3 pounds below the minimum Wright st 34 mph. So I might get a new ski. Chart seems to suggest 65 inch. Can anyone elaborate on the differences beeween the 2019 NRG 1 as opposed to the NRG which was from 2028. Someone suggested there were significant changes. . Thanks.
  8. I have changed brands successfully. Others as well. Change sometimes accelerated learning as you feel new things.
  9. Alaska reporting here. First Camaro works for me. When really cold I wear their Titanium Modec .5 top under a full Black Tech suit. Have used this with air and water both in the 40s. Second another “vintage skier” at age 74. Cold hands can be an issue. Hoping to go for a couple more weeks. Boat is a Carbon Pro 6.0 with a heater. Latter is a big help. Morning skiing now is fine with air in low 50s and water on lower half of 60s. Nights in 40s so water temperature is dropping. I hope to ga a couple more weeks.
  10. I would note young people learn differently than adults. They watch learn visually and copy what they see. They do it without instruction and through visualization. They do this without coaching. Coaching can even hamper the process. This is often the key to success for young athletes fortunate enough to learn watching highly successful athletes at there home base. They seem to just get it naturally and can have that good start for life. As an example children 4 to 10 in other sports such as Nordic asking that start by following Olympic athletes learn fast and well. They learn by games and following not by being told what to do. They do what they see. Not what there told. I expect for young people in the boat and on the shore watching g great skiers the same process occurs. Great way to learn.
  11. Goode skis as the results show work. So do others. Currently I am using a D3 after quite a few years on Goode.
  12. D3 Tfactors. Easy entry. Comfortable. Adjustable. Problem will be solved.
  13. Enjoy. Falcons had a nice wake.
  14. I have both Masterline and In Tow. I prefer the InTow.
  15. T Factors are my favorite over HO, Radar,Goode
  16. A second for the Carbon Pro and it gives you a PCM engine.
  17. The Wiley will stretch a little over time.
  18. Brenda at InTow has handles that work. .
  19. A Centurion Eclipse from around 2,000 to 2,002 has a flat and soft slalom wake. Excellent boat for kids and 15 off. Excellent at the speeds you want. It really should work well for you. I have owned/used multiple MC’s, Nautiques, and Centurions over 30 plus years. Have been involved as a boat dealer with all three. I still have one of these. A 2002 with a 5.7 fuel injected Mercruiser. It is the one the kids, grandkids and wives really enjoyed. So we still have it. Has never had any maintenance issues. Water pump system is durable. Has never had a day out of service. Change oil annually and go. Not promoted a lot. Not well known. Not expensive and worth looking to find one. Expect to have mine for many more years. Still have two other slalom boats. Much newer. Zero off 6.0 etc. Nevertheless when 8 year old granddaughter goes today this boat will get the call. Same when niece arrives. Same with other kids around bd the lake that request this “boat and old driver” rather than their boats.
  20. Titanium’s were thicker. Now thinner and thick replaced by black tech. Black tech with the thin current Titanium can handle cold extremely well.
  21. Forgot to Mention that when really cold I may use their .5 titanium shirt under the black tech.
  22. I have a 2.0. No longer use the dry suit. I have used it in water in the 40’s and air also in the 40’s. Works well. I also have their lighter silver/ titanium suits in two different weights which are not as warm as the 2.0 black tech.
  23. If it were me I would change skis. I find it can be like a reset and lead to improvement and increased enjoyment. . Finally not everyone loves Radar skis in my experience, and that is true fir other brands as well.
