  1. About 146 pounds in a 65 inch. All stock and really like the ski. Have used a 66 as well. Prefer the 65

    Bimini height

Centurion Bimini on a Carbon Pro. About 55 or so inches above the floor.

    Bimini height

Mine is about 55 from the floor.
  4. Is it correct that after Goode he also worked with D3 including the NRG?
  5. In Tow has multiple handle sizes; they are not limited to one size. If that impression was created here I believe it is because a post was misunderstood.
  6. In Tow. I own both. I prefer the In Tow. I only use the In Tow for slalom. I sometimes use the Masterline for cruises around the lake behind a classic wooden Century Resorter 17 but not for anything else.
  7. JAS do you know if that is Mike Suyderhoud on a Western Wood?

I like the original NRG, as opposed to the NRG 1, wondering how it compares.
  9. Go green you will be glad you did. I have had two green boats. Both were easy to look at and ran great.
  10. Another serious Nordic (XC) skier here. Not really possible to pick a favorite. I appreciate both and start each new season with enthusiasm after my time away where participation was not possible due to the season. My waterskiing comes with “ amenities” like my island second home, 5 generations of shared lake experience and is simply unique and wonderful. Nordic is at times more solitary. At other times it is group oriented for training, coaching, group events etc. I experience XC in an ideal community including extraordinary coaching, numerous Olympian’s with whom I have skied and who I count as friends. Competitively I have had some success at high levels. Much of my Nordic is on groomed terrain. Much of it at night on lighted groomed trails. There are multiple lighted venues available where I live in Alaska. However there is off track also available that I often pursue with my dogs out of town as well. So I love both experiences. I need both. I cannot choose a favorite. My life would be entirely different if I could not pursue both.
  11. I have a 2019 CGA Ronnie codes not absorb water. Great fit. Lots of protection.
  12. Woody my Kidder is also mint. Brand new and never used.
  13. I know I’ve person that skis in a baggy dry suit to avoid the issue.
  14. Still skiing in Alaska. A week ago air was 40 and water 51. Warmed up this weekend. Water still 51 but air was 45. Camaro Black Tec suit with Camaro Motec .5 shirt under it and all was good. Really appreciate Camaro.
  15. I could handle the colors. Not a fan of towers. Prefer Biminis so would need some discount if looking which I am not.
  16. Nice Kidder. Still have I’ve just like it.
  17. Here is a response to your 90s MC wake question at lower speeds. This is based on using, selling, and teaching new skiers with MCs in the 80s and 90s. Perhaps this will help you. 1986 MC is very good. Wakes on 87,88, 89, 90 are larger. 91,92,93,94 MC are quite good. All these previous boats have spray at shoreline. 95,96,97 have less spray but not better wakes at lower speeds and 15 off as 91-94. If I had your goal I would look for an 86 or maybe a 94 as the 94 had fuel injection.
  18. There was a September 12 post comparing NRG, NRG1 and Evo. You might review it. I am on a NRG and love it. D3 has few left at a great price of they have your size.

    PCM 6.0 oil

PCM web page recommends 15w 40 conventional oil for all of their engines other than the XR7 and XS7; for the last two engines they recommend 5w30 synthetic. So the conclusion is the 6.0 should have 15W 40. They recommend conventional oil in the manual; apparently on the basis that full synthetic has not been shown to have a benefit; they do say synthetic can be used but it is not a basis to extend the time between oil changes.
  20. My NAPA normally has Valvoline VR 1
  21. Triumph could also provide more resistance drag when the pull is hard so you can’t hang on and lose your hip while the smaller ski might have less and you could hang on. These things can be rather individual.
