What does everyone use for camera setups? Was thinking of getting a gopro session. Will it see wide enough if mounted static? I don't want to get into a multi hundred dollar setup, just something quick that doesn't need someone holding it and gives me something decent to look back at.

@GWaterski Yeah I seen that and totally forgot about it. We were actually taking the heads off the boat motor that weekend and that would have been a good chance to get out there.

That is for sure the biggest thing I am struggleing with right now. I have it in my head to commit but pull up. I started small early this weekend with commiting to a slower cross with less angle but for some reason as the weekend went on I stopped that. I suppose fatiuge could be a factor as I have skied for the last 4 days straight. Honestly I was happy to see my body position when I first watched this.

Alright, I finally got some other people in the boat so I could get some video of me. I am free skiing at 15 off. I have noticed a few things the first time I watched them but would like for you all to fire away at me. Keep in mind on the starts we have a few extra people on board and it took a bit to drag me up. Hopefully I dont screw up and make a long link to my youtube because I can't figure out how to attach videos. Please help me better my new favorite hobby.

As much as replace the boat is a great option, it is not really an option at this point. We are keeping an eye out for a deal of course. @ScottScott it is a 19' and I ski around 30mph give or take a few. I have tried 15 off a little bit here and there and really don't know what to think there. I think I have made much progress so far and feel great on the new stick, even nailed 6 deepwater starts in a row!! My next step is either finding someone to video me or figuring out a way to mount my phone to video myself so I can actually see what I am doing. I did take a pretty good OTF this evening, just cant seem to figure out the right weight distribution as I always find myself way back. Just not enough hours in the day and I only make it out 2-3 days max per week. @swc5150 that is a nice looking boat for sure. Would really like to find something closer to the 3k range, definitely don't need all the bells and whistles. It is all about fun for me still and I do plan on getting some coaching hopefully next spring.

So I don't know how to say this without sounding like a complete pansy. I seem to have a fear of the wake crossing. I always end up pulling up and coming across the wake slow and flat on my ski. I am skiing behind an 84 Four Winns so the wake isnt so great. Any tips? Just man up and do it? When I demoed my ski behind a Mastercraft I dont recall having as much of an issue.

I just recently got a senate alloy and have vector and HRT. Love them both. I always felt like my heel was sliding off the ski with the rtp and didnt like the feel of the double boot.

I have the 17s and love them. They are also the only pair i have ever had.

When the boat won't run right for weeks and we have to tear the engine apart again.

Yup I checked it when I was fixing the rear.

I have always done both feet in with my rtp on my last ski.

Ok I noticed that my HRT is slightly angled toe to the left. I am LFF and it seems like it should be slightly right? I cannot seem to find any info on this in my search.

Finally broke down and bought myself a Senate!! Can't get the boat motor put back in fast enough.

I tried one last weekend and was hooked on the first turn. Even my offside felt like I knew what I was doing (I really don't). I plan on ordering one this afternoon .

@skihard I was thinking somewhere that is warmer than Michigan in April. The only thing I really want to do while there is ski anyways. I kind of figured it would mostly be centralized around Florida. @Ilivetoski I only do slalom.

For sure thinking about the all inclusive.

Honestly I don't know what I really want. This weekend will be my first time in a course at the radar demo. I guess I would like to get the basics down and a little bit more as well as have a good time of course.

Hey guys, I was thinking I might want to take a vacation next spring and get a week of training. What places do you recommend and why? I don't want to go broke so I'm looking for probably not more that $1000 not including travel.

Does anyone else have to drive by the Lowell, Caledonia area that could stop and grab me on the way tonight?
