  1. $130k?? You can buy a promo ProStar and a brand new nicely-equipped Raptor to pull it with for that. And I am a big Nautique fan too... I mean geez, you can buy a Porsche 911 for that money.
  2. Does the 2014 MDX have a trans cooler? I'd look into one of those as well if it doesn't. I drive a 2005 and it has an aftermarket Curt tow hitch on it.
  3. The Wrangler has enough power to pull, but it's still only rated to tow 3500 lbs. I'm pretty sure it's a suspension and wheelbase issue. I would advise not using one as a ski boat tow rig. They're cool trucks, though. Stick with an F150 or something of similar size/rating.
  4. Radar Lyric My sister has one, 2 of my friends have them, and my school's waterski club has one. I think Wiley's may still have a few 2016 models left over on sale (not that I am in any way trying to discourage you from shopping at Performance).
  5. What is a "PCM40 carburetor" engine? lol I'm assuming GT40? But that would be EFI...
  6. @Broussard Navy. I like the Corsair too, but to me, the darker navy is more striking.
  7. @WBLskier I'd highly recommend this unit from Fusion if you're just looking to replace the standard "single-DIN" size factory stereo unit. My family has one in our boat. It's a little pricier than others, but has a great interface and app compatibility that makes running your tunes from your phone even easier than others. From what I understand, it's also got enough juice to power a couple speakers on its own, although an amp always helps things sound better. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_917RA70I/FUSION-MS-RA70.html?tp=61742 OR this thing if you want something less expensive. It's one of the top sellers on Crutchfield and I have had good experiences with Sony head units. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_158DSXM55B/Sony-DSX-M55BT.html?tp=61742
  8. @socalskier Imperial always rocks!
  9. Go for the T-Factor. Really comfy binding. I have a front boot and a rear toe plate.
  10. Wow my buddy has a boat identical to that one in spec and colors Those are the best boats (TS3 hull) to ski and drive in my opinion
  11. @WBLskier do you want it to fit into your dash (round, gauge-sized unit) or into a standard single-DIN hole? Can you maybe post a pic of what you're working with?
  12. @Mitzysman I've heard that after the green Vapor (supposedly good but not as forgiving as other skis), they have all been excellent. That being said, I've never skied on any of them and my buddy had good success with his green Vapor.
  13. @Bill22 I looked at a 2018 Senate just a few days ago. It still has the step on the bottom (which they eliminated for 2018 on the Vapor), so I can only assume that 2017 was the last update year. I am pretty confident that 2015 was the first big update, at the very least.
  14. @ALPJr can you post a link to them? Thanks
  15. This is how I'd do mine. Never seen one like it, not even on the interwebs...
  16. From what I recall, 2015 was a big change/improvement for the Senate. Might have been updated in 2017 or 18 as well..? Not sure though... I know this because I almost bought one myself.
  17. Sheesh - wish I was in the market... Could be made into a super nice ZO practice tug, especially for that price.
  18. I like 13" with a 1.062 diameter the best. I currently have a 13" with a 1" diameter, though.
  19. @Horton you ever make it up to the Seattle area?
  20. Welcome to Sea-Town I'm a Lake Sammamish Waterski Club member, but finishing up college in San Diego. I'd say the season is pretty much spring (April ish) to October. Best skiing is in July and August when all the lakes are very warm. Ski Park Lake and Broho Lake are popular placest to get time slots. You can also get a membership at Hilltop too I believe. Who have u been in contact with at the Lake Samm. club? Happy to answer any other questions - I love skiing up there. I ski at Ski Park Lake at least once per week and free ski early early in the morning on Lake Washington when I can.
  21. I was wondering WHAT was going on up there haha Sounds like a blast, nonetheless
  22. Anyone know how many MC promos there are in the Pacific Northwest?
  23. @Jody_Seal would you mind sharing details about the GT40 ECM repair/replacement? I'm interested in getting a GT40 boat and would like to know more about that. Thanks!
