  1. No tall sizes means it probably won’t be an option for me
  2. We found a couple of abandoned temporary sign bases that are made of recycled rubber. 50 lbs each, they stay put, and have handles to make movement easy. If you find a couple in a ditch don’t pass them up.
  3. Holy crap! Hope you are able to heal up quickly. I knew Spectra is strong stuff but it must have really hit the ski with some speed.
  4. From the HO product video it sounds like the Syndicate Omni will not be made and the Syndicate Omega Max will essentially take its place in the lineup. So someone at 32 mph and wanting to progress could go with that. They always seem to blur the lines and make things confusing though, this year with the Carbon Omega Max and Carbon Omni. Now everyone will be asking which of those to buy. I’m sure many will also ask if they should go Omega or Omega Max.
  5. @A_B the Max is only in a 67”, no 68” offered.
  6. @A_B the real question is, will the ski be available next year? It seems like few got the 2021 version because of issues caused by COVID.
  7. I have no experience with this product, it may work fantastic. What I have had great luck with are the simple but super effective exercises that I got from a trainer who used to work on pro baseball players. Lots of band work and simple motion exercises to help with both strength and impingement issues. All my pain went away and I have a lot more range of motion. Best part is that they are free, less the cost of bands that many already have.
  8. The general population cannot ski like Chris Parrish
  9. What are you all wearing under your board shorts? I go with TYR that has a really nice and comfortable liner. Maybe I’m just old school. Shorts are the perfect length for me and are not baggy so getting up is really easy. They seem to last a long time too.
  10. I had the same issue with the rubber RTPs not fitting my foot well. It was always too tight at the front and lose at the rear. Ended up with a Radar boa ARTP and so far it’s great. Fits perfectly, easy to adjust between passes if I want, and my foot doesn’t move a bit. I also noticed that the strap sits further back than my old HO and I really like that.
  11. @skialex that is exactly what I want needed to learn. Thank you!
  12. My setup isn’t moving and I have it nice and tight. I’m just wondering if on an HO ski I should use all three rear most inserts or only using two is enough. The Radar rear binding plate has the hole for the middle screw but the doubler plate does not. The HO version of the doubler plate has extra holes for that middle insert, pic of HO plate below.
  13. @ALPJr that's a different insert. The direct connect inserts are larger diameter and forward of the three rear 8-32 traditional inserts.
  14. Sorry for bringing back an old thread. I have the exact same setup as the original post, with the plat and I shortened the screws so they don’t bottom out. The HO ski has three inserts back there but using the plate means only two of them can be used. I’m wondering if it’s good using only two rear inserts, I should get the HO plate, or drill an extra hole in the Radar plate for that middle screw? Thanks.
  15. I had a long post written about the law and justice in this country and that I do not take pleasure in anyone’s misfortune. It’s not worth it. The admin tells me not to comment so I won’t. Got the message.
  16. I have no information about the case or Chad. A police officer is supposed to be an example of the Law. Somehow I know many Americans who are able to live and thrive without lying in ways that ruin other’s lives (even if those others are bad people) or stealing. He may be a good friend to some and fantastic driver but that does not change that doing something against the law should be prosecuted. These kinds of cases are horrible for our police because there are way more good than bad.
  17. @GarberoG it sure looks like something hit that ski. That’s a lot of spider cracking and I would probably look for a new ski. Others may fix it.
  18. Do we have to be a 39 off skier to answer this poll? (joking)
  19. Looks like Boa on bottom, bungee on top.
  20. Just use what the manufacture recommends and get back to skiing. Worry more about the food you eat, your ski, and your form. Even as a lowly 15 off skier I will always use what is recommended and move on with my life. On my previous question, I asked about the non-e because the Ilmor manual recommends both 91-93 octane and non-ethanol fuel. I was curious what people would say. I’m aware of the correct technical answer that ethanol is fine in newer engines that run often. If you don’t run it often enough the ethanol will pull in moisture. Once the new Mastercraft is on the lift I’ll go for recommended octane throughout the season. At the end I’ll switch to non-ethanol for a few sets to get ready for winter. Beyond that, I’m going to worry about getting that line shorter and not the gas.
  21. So if I can either get 90 octane non-ethanol or ethanol fuel at 91 or 93, is it better to go with the non-ethanol or higher octane?
  22. Did you test the fuel you got to see what the actual octane percentage is?
  23. Seems like you need to try some different RTP options. Before you jump to a double boot just try to get up with both feet in. You will have to do it with double boot anyway and it’s a lot easier to get your foot how you want while sitting in the water. Wileys makes both a standard and wide version so one of those may work better for you.
  24. Listen to the spraymakers podcast about speed.
