  1. Seems like it's kinda in your line of sight??
  2. @horton it's just not the same having an unboxing without the knife
  3. @Wish how could you ignore that glassy glass?!
  4. And if you have a hot water shower in the boat you can fill the ice chest with that
  5. @ski6jones Used mine July-Sept, one small surface nick on upper right arm, dabbed seam seal on it; think caught it on dock. Otherwise not a mark; VERY happy with product. When I need a vest it will be a Stokes as well.
  6. @cougfan installed a nice heater in his Malibu last year (not a heatercraft) - but is a standard hot water system - but REALLY nice & toasty and well worth my friend's effort to install it for me!!
  7. 41 water at Hilltop today. Five skiers on the dock enjoying the day!
  8. @mmosley899 - Is this compatible with the MOB set up?
  9. @cougfan I thought you didn't eat oysters? Hope you had one for me. My boss is a slave driver and would never let me leave early to go skiing.
  10. They should send you one to try so you can do a BOS review. Will need a big knife to open that box!
  11. I am thankful for: 1. Our Bow Lake Wednesday Men's Dinner Club foursome - best guys ever to hang with 2. Hilltop Lake and Gordon's drive to give us such a beautiful place to ski 3. My more recent HT ski friends, especially Bruce; he skis with me here in WA all year long, rain or shine 4. My best friend Doug who got me into skiing in 1977 and has kept me in it ever since. Not many have the luxury of a 50 year special friendship! 5. My family and my health at 61+ Lots more but this is should do it for now.
  12. You are driven more by the process than the outcome ... LOVE that mindset in skiing & in life!
  13. 44 water, a bit of mist to drizzle. Awesome morning vs sitting on the couch!
  14. 46 at Hilltop this weekend. Lovely in a dry suit - feet not turning blue yet. Sunny and calm water; love autumn skiing
  15. LOL great memory of my buddy's 1st boat we called the Green Hemorrhoid - an old green runabout with an even older 55 hp Evinrude. Ran great till it got warm, then the coil would short out until it cooled off. We learned to ski up river with a cooler of beer. When it quit we just drifted back to the launch - Good Times!
  16. Check out this one, there's some discussion from knee replacement folks. https://forum.ballofspray.com/discussion/22493/knee-arthritis-and-stem-cells#latest
  17. So this weekend I could open 2-3 threads before blanking out. Tonight I ran the page w/o a blank out.
  18. In winter, I always drive with dry suit on and zipped up - If skier needs my assistance in the water I want to stay warm and dry if I have to jump in. Especially on a private lake w/o a spotter
  19. @MISkier chrome; tried explore too, no change.
  20. I have an old XP system I still use at home. In the past few weeks, when I click on "discussions" I usually get a blank white page, except for pictures on the side. It does occasionally show the thread titles but never opens them; always a blank page. I can watch any videos fine. Any suggestions are appreciated (except those about get rid of XP - I know, I know)
  21. My "most satisfying" are the smooth and early, feel like you could run a 10 ball pass. My "most fun" are when I think I am ruined by 2-3 ball, and somehow my Superlite ends up early again by 6 ball. IMHO it's the ski, not the operator!
  22. @cougfan & I occasionally ski with a surgeon that routinely does TKR - in fact did one for my wife a couple months ago. I asked him about post THR & TKR skiing - he says as long as you are in control and not pushing it (like really competitive shortline) he is comfortable with his patients skiing. His concern is if you have a bad crash, you can have a catastrophic implant & bone failure and possibly really tough surgery recoveries and use of leg in the future.
