I'm told there is not even a boat on site. I'll believe it when I see them up and running. Michael told me the new owners were from Europe. For now going out to Ski Fluid and Jodi's.
Sadly, we're in a slalom dead zone. I live just north in Clearwater. Michael McCormick sold his place last year. Not sure what the new owners are doing at this point.
We have to drive east out to Ski Fluid with Kyle Eade or a bit further to Jodi Fisher. Both are awesome!
Carbon Omni sounds like a good choice. I ski a Connelly Carbon V with Radar Vector BOA boots. Just getting into the course at 58 years old, but I love that combination. The Vector BOA boots are great.
This is tempting. Most reasonably priced low hour Malibu I've seen since I started looking for a boat 18 months ago.

Some nice Prostars on onlyinboards. Prices are finally returning to earth. It also helps that it's winter and several of those nice boats are in cold storage right now waiting for a buyer.
@hiddenskier the house I was scheduled to see this weekend on Lake Tennessee sold last night. My search for a lake house continues! Hopefully they sold to some good skiers. Thanks for everyone's input. I will keep this lake high on my list of possibilities.
@BKistler I thought Scot Ellis might be on that lake when I saw the jump, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the confirmation. Any idea how the busy the boat and ski traffic is on that small lake? There's a nicer home just south on Lake Julianna, but I don't see a course on that larger lake.
Anyone know anything about the skiers on Lake Tennessee in Auburndale, Florida? I'm looking at a house on this lake which has a slalom course and a ski jump. I'd like to get some more information about the lake and the skiers if possible as I proceed. The lake is a bit small at only 100 acres.
Great news for central Florida. I was there last year. It was my first professional water ski tournament. The venue was great and the viewing access was excellent.
@bkistler will there be public access to the course on that lake or will all slalom skiing be controlled by their vendor? I've looked at two houses on Lake Van and Lake Juliana but neither of those lakes have slalom courses.
Is this the site next to the cable park? I've looked at a few homes near there, but the two lakes I looked at did not have slalom courses. I wonder who will run this facility.
