  1. @connellyskis thanks for taking the time to respond here. You've got email.
  2. I cannot comment on your skiing, but great deepwater start. I just spent a week skiing with my wife behind a strong boat. I had a bit of an epiphany when she pulled me over on a few starts and thought of your issues with your new boat. We settled on an almost two part start where she pulled me for 1-2 seconds at low throttle and then smoothly accelerated after my ski planed. Worked like a charm every time and was very easy on my back.
  3. Anyone have a contact person for a Connelly warranty issue? I sent an email, but now I am questioning if that is the best way to contact them.
  4. How much are you paying for these? I'm a Connelly skier, but the Siege is likely your better option here of the two you listed. I believe the shortline in 2018 was little more than a beginner ski.
  5. @MDB1056 my maltipoo loves when we ski. Starts jumping when we get down his life jacket.
  6. Out of fairness, there do appear to be boats on that property.
  7. Talk to a realtor and have them hook you into their database with lakefront as one of the filters for the areas you are looking at. Gary Kaser, Drew Ross, LaPoint, Whitney McClintock-Rini, etc... can all help you with this. They are all active here. I've been looking for about a year now. I get alerts a few times a week regarding new lakefront home listings. The market finally seems to be cooling down a bit but prices remain high. Where are you looking?
  8. @CBR51 I tried instagram, but I'm not sure he received it. Plus it would only be a small file. I will try through @ESPNSkier
  9. Thanks! Does anyone here know Joel? I'd love to get him this photo.
  10. My first time at the Masters and Joel Poland was a thrill to watch. He's a real crowd favorite. His great attitude and enthusiasm is what this sport needs. Here is a composite of his winning jump. He skied right through the beach crowd to everyone's delight.
  11. Is your rear foot out? Getting up on that ski should be like a wakeboard. Have the driver tighten up and then slowly ease on the throttle until the ski planes. Then you should be able to slowly stand up. Too much power too soon and they pull you right over. Is your ski rotating? Which foot forward?
  12. If you're a Connelly guy, you should look at the Carbon V. Seems like it would be perfect for your situation.
  13. Couple of nice boats just went up on SIA from California. I'd rather take a chance on this barely used boat. https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=63361
  14. Hardly a "new" boat if it will be pulling tournaments all summer.
  15. @Tarek I don't know of any sort of club/membership deals at McCormick. You would have to speak with Michael directly regarding something like that. I typically ski with my family and book him for 1 hour. We're pretty organized and are able to each get our sets in. We need the coaching, so we feel this is a great value for all of us.
  16. Thanks for the great info! I've been going to Callaway Gardens one week in June with my family for the past 21 years. We just never made it to the Masters. My kids all learned to ski on Robin Lake. Nautique used to leave two boats up there after the tournament for the summer, and the local kids would give us instruction. Now that we're learning the course, we are excited to finally be up at Callaway for the Masters.
  17. After watching Swiss Pro this weekend, we finally decided this was our year to go to the Masters. Anyone else going? I'm not much of a skier, but I do enjoy watching the professionals.
  18. Great broadcast. Need a new drone pilot. Nobody wants to see drone footage of you trying to follow a skier at those speeds. Just stay straight down the boat path. Some viewers in my home needed to look away during those segments! I'm not sure about the buoy cam. It looked like Whitney had to swerve to avoid that unexpected obstacle on her last run. I enjoyed the round when they had Jodi Fisher up on the broadcast table. Great commentary and insight. Perhaps they could have more former champions join them for segments in the future.
  19. We can all use a little help sometimes!
  20. You all sound like a bunch of old ladies!
  21. @skierjp I'm interested. Can you pm me an address? Any other information?
  22. @skierjp we spoke last year about spirit lake. Personally, it looks perfect for me and my family. Quite frankly, I'm kicking myself for not buying a nice home that sold on Archaic Drive when I first started looking. I don't want to air any dirty laundry on the site, but I can say that I met a nice couple at a tournament who moved from Spirit Lake due to the drama. They cautioned me about buying there.
