  1. Was your friend piloting the drone from the boat? I find that can be quite challenging.
  2. OK. I'm interested. Will I have to wait 1-2 years for one of these?
  3. This episode really cracked me up. Common sense is so uncommon!
  4. The ski won't be what holds you back as a newbie. Best to spend the money on some good lessons as others have said. I do enjoy the easy deepwater starts with my Carbon V. That little bit of extra width takes a lot of pressure off my back. The mid range ski is not my problem as I learn the course.
  5. Fantastic. Great deal all around. Easy sale and the new owner just got a beautiful boat.
  6. Great to hear you made it out to McCormick's I wish I lived closer. Takes me almost an hour to get there from Clearwater.
  7. Wow, you're assuming that a small body of water like Mango Lake with about 60 homes will have someone on this web site who can take you skiing? Pretty slim odds. When you inquired on another thread, several folks (myself included) suggested McCormicks. Did Michael ever get back with you? He's great and just a few miles from Mango Lake. Best to book a set on line and give him a try. I booked an hour there this past weekend for myself and my daughters. Great ski site with really good instruction.
  8. @MichaelWiebe is your son a skier? I'm curious about the Lucaya lake club where he lives. It's a small, oddly shaped lake. Is there a course on the lake? Most of the homes there don't even seem to have docks. One of the realty web sites states "no boats over 225hp" allowed.
  9. I'm currently looking for the same. Can you narrow down your desired location a bit? Winter Haven? Orlando region? Tons of lakes with courses all around. The market is red hot right now. Properties I've been interested typically sell within 48 hours of hitting the MLS. It's crazy.
  10. @ScottScott you should make them an offer!
  11. I'm currently looking to buy a home on a ski lake here in Florida. The market is insane. I won't comment about the price for this home, but the property taxes seem way off the mark (even for Florida). I wonder about the assessed value of that home and what the current taxes are based on. A sale at over $500k has to result in significantly higher taxes.
  12. I'm still going with Zenith. I've even worked up a good logo for you.
  13. Sitting at the 3 ball at an event this weekend made me realize why manufacturers bother to decorate the bottom of the ski. Free advertising!
  14. That boat looks like it's in great shape. How many hours? What's the asking price?
  15. Great looking boat with official BOS design! Very tempting, but I need a house on a lake before I can buy a boat.
  16. https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Real_Estate&postid=59507 This house at Swiss Fairways looks interesting. It's in Clermont which is just under 90 minutes from Tampa. I'm also looking to buy a house in this area on a lake. I just don't know how it works at Swiss Fairways if you are allowed to own you own boat or if you are required to use a club boat and pay membership and for pulls.
  17. You can't beat Michael McCormick if you're in Tampa. Super nice guy with great instruction. Wonderful lake with a nice SN200. It's just 10 miles east on I4 from Tampa.
  18. That's a little ridiculous. The boat has 108 hours on it. How would that help me haggle with a dealer on a new boat? He could at least tell us what the sticker price was on the boat when new.
  19. How about listing a price? Maybe just a pet peeve of mine, but if you're going to list something for sale, it's a good idea to list your asking price. Why bother making people call? First post here, so who knows if he will even see my post.
  20. McCormick's is right near you in Seffner. I'm over here in Clearwater and drive out there with my family for sets. Michael is great!
  21. I'm just an ENT doctor, but from what I know about kyphoplasty, it has been a godsend for patients with painful isolated vertebral compression fractures. Patients have done very well and rebounded quickly with good resolution of their pain. With no improvement after several months of conservative treatment, I would certainly consider this option.
